He Haixia: (1908-1998), Manchu, originally known as He Fuhai, Ziying, also known as Dengying, is a famous Chinese painter and calligrapher in modern China, and a professional painter of the Chinese Painting Academy (the predecessor of the National Academy of Painting of China). In the Chang'an School, He Haixia stood on three feet with Shi Lu and Zhao Wangyun, and was an indispensable leading figure. In the spring of 1935, He Haixia visited Zhang Daqian, who was 36 years old and He Haixia was 27 years old, becoming a proud protégé in the Dafeng Hall.

He Haixia was born in Beijing in September 1908, dropped out of school at the age of ten, and apprenticed to the Liulichang antique shop "Yue Gu Zhai", which is better to say, and learned art from the old treasurer Han Gongdian. From the point of view of the class struggle, it is child labour for capitalists. Antique shops, unlike other trading houses, here apprentices, learn to taste and copy calligraphy and painting.
