He used the truth of art to highlight the truth of history

Since the 1950s, the exploration and innovation of realistic freehand figure painting has been the focus of Li Zhenjian's teaching and research. Li Zhenjian's artistic achievements lie in the integration of the modeling tradition since the Western Renaissance with the brush and ink language accumulated by Chinese painting for thousands of years; under the care of realism, the realistic figures of the times are placed in the painting form with national characteristics; the new paradigm of "Zhejiang school figure painting" is created, which gives new life to the tradition of Chinese painting since Gu Kaizhi who "writes gods in shape" in the new era.

"I was touched by the purity, simplicity and sincerity of that generation. The kindness in his heart, the sense of equality in the face of his fellow villagers, the sincerity of life, and the sincerity of humanity are all things that have been missing in today's art world for a long time, and they are also worthy of our self-examination today. "As Gao Shiming said, Mr. Li's generation has marked a road for us with their pure, simple and sincere artistic careers- to highlight the truth of history with the truth of art, and to create art in the creation of the people. The avenue is deep, Mr. Li Zhenjian's art is evergreen, and the teacher's watch will always exist.
