Don't assume that the probability of an accident occurring is small. When it comes to yourself, you may not be more calm than they are.
According to 2008 national cause-of-death monitoring data[1], among children under 5 years of age, the top five causes of accidental death are: drowning, masking syndrome (excessive warmth, also known as fever syndrome), traffic accidents, food and respiratory obstruction, and earthquake deaths.
Taking Guangdong Province as an example, in 2015, the top five causes of accidental death of children under 5 years of age in Guangdong Province were: drowning (33.33%), traffic accidents (20.76%), respiratory foreign body asphyxia (14.90%), falling (11.84%), and accidental suffocation in bed (9.40%) [2].
In fact, to rescue children with airway obstruction, only need to learn a simple action: Heimlich first aid.
