On April 21, Beijing time, Lincoln Motor released the latest pure electric concept SUV Lincoln Star Concept, the body of the new car uses a very exaggerated lighting design, this car also shows the world Lincoln brand in the design direction of electrification.

From the appearance point of view, star concept is a cross-border SUV model, the lines are simple and smooth, but the most impressive is the lighting system of the whole car, the front grille, side logo, wheel arch, tail and even the roof of the vehicle are designed with light-emitting units, while the A-pillar and D-pillar are transparent design, and its interior is a 3D printed honeycomb structure.
The side of the body adopts a yacht-style design, and the rapidly sliding roof and straight window lines converge on the rear of the car, making the shape elegant and dynamic. At the same time, the new car adopts a two-way door design, so the B-pillar is also eliminated, which can make it more convenient for passengers to enter and exit the car. The loading capacity of the new car is also a highlight, with the front luggage compartment opening horizontally upwards and the front grille extending forward to facilitate the placement of items.
The rear of the car uses simple lines to outline the overall tail design, and the through taillights are meshed inside, under which is a luminous "LINCOLN" logo and a dotted light emitting unit that echoes the front grille.
The interior of the vehicle also adopts a minimalist design style, the car completely cancels the physical buttons, above the center console is a floating screen that runs through the entire front row, and there is also a small LED screen below, and there is also a retractable small table board under the screen, with a double-spoke multi-functional steering wheel, the overall sense of technology is very strong.
The interior of the car adopts a 2+2 4-seat layout, the lower part of the rear seats is also designed with pull-out storage compartments, and the front seats can be flipped backwards to facilitate face-to-face communication between the people in the car. At the same time, the door panels, the front floor, and even the rear seat backrests in the car are designed with luminous units, which are not only full of technology, but also more elegant in the car.
As for the power and battery life data of the concept car, the official did not disclose. However, Lincoln officials said that the car will not be mass-produced in the end, mainly to show the future design direction and technology. In the future, Lincoln plans to launch 4 all-electric models by 2026, and by 2030, half of its global sales will be electric vehicles.
