On April 21, Changan Deep Blue, a new energy vehicle brand under Changan Automobile, held a technology sharing activity to introduce the new pure electric drive special platform - EPA1 platform for the first time, which is also a new pure electric drive special platform with completely independent intellectual property rights and forward design.
It is reported that the EPA1 platform has the characteristics of "1 full + 4 high", "1 full" is the all-electric digital platform, and "4 high" refers to high efficiency, high performance, high intelligence and high security.
In terms of high efficiency, the new generation of super-collector electric drive used has 163 patents, and the efficiency of the electric drive can reach up to 95%; the world's first micro-core high-frequency pulse heating technology has been launched to help the battery achieve a battery temperature rise of 4°C/min in a -30°C environment, a 50% increase in dynamics, and a 15% reduction in charging time.
In terms of high performance, the EPA1 model will use rear-wheel drive as the mainstay, support the power layout of dual-motor four-wheel drive expansion, and support the development of two powertrain models of extended range and hydrogen fuel cell; the chassis adopts the H-arm multi-link independent suspension system and is equipped with the latest generation of brake dual redundancy system; at the same time, it adopts a 50:50 front and rear axle-to-load ratio and a wide body, low center of gravity chassis design.
In terms of intelligence, the EPA1 platform supports global speed OTA upgrades, that is, it supports OTAs for all nodes of the vehicle, which can complete OTAs in three minutes; there are also technologies such as Changan Smart Core.
At the same time, the first model based on EPA1, Changan Deep Blue C385, some core parameter information was also announced at this event. The new car provides three powertrains: pure electricity, extended range, and hydrogen power. Among them, the pure electric version is equipped with a motor with the highest power of more than 190 kilowatts, and the cruising range can reach more than 700 kilometers; the pure electric range of the extended range model reaches more than 200 kilometers, the fuel consumption is as low as 4.5L/100km, and the comprehensive endurance is more than 1200 kilometers. The mileage of the hydrogen version is also more than 700 kilometers, and the power consumption of feed hydrogen is as low as 0.65 kg/100km or less, which can achieve 3 minutes of ultra-fast energy replenishment.
Looking back at the appearance, the front closed grille highlights the electrification attribute, and the sharp lines exude a youthful state that overflows with words, and the design of the bulge on the hood is very muscular; the popular split headlight group is not absent, the flat LED daily running lights above are very sharp, and the matrix light group with interactive lights below is also equipped.

The interior design is mainly minimalist style, with few lines and few colors, but it is full of high-grade texture. The large-size floating central control screen and full LCD instrument adopt a front-and-rear independent layout, and are expected to be equipped with Huawei's Hongmeng system. In addition, the new car will be equipped with APA7.0 remote unmanned valet parking system and electric drive high-frequency pulse heating technology. The former can realize unmanned autonomous queuing outside the garage, and the latter effectively improves the performance of low temperature driving.
