OTA (Over-the-air upgrade) is one of the greatest features of Tesla Motors, which occasionally pushes the latest software upgrades to owners over WIFI or cellular networks. With OTA updates, vehicles can add new features and refine existing ones, making Tesla vehicles safer and more powerful over time.
The current latest OTA version is 2022.12.3, which is basically the same as 2022.12.1. At the same time, due to Tesla's large-scale OTA recall in China, some owners will receive a recall update on April 5.13, 2022.
-Air upgrade recall (2022.4.5.13)

If you have received an update package named 2022.4.5.13 that indicates that there is a safety hazard in your vehicle's rear motor inverter, it is recommended that you download and install the update package as soon as possible to eliminate the safety hazard.
According to Tesla's recall instructions, this recall applies to some domestic and imported Model 3s produced between January 11, 2019 and January 25, 2022. There may be minor manufacturing differences in the power semiconductor components of the vehicle rear motor inverter within the scope of the recall, and the component manufacturing differences after some vehicles have been used for a period of time may cause the rear inverter to fail, resulting in the inverter not being able to control the current normally. This failure occurs when the vehicle is in a parked state, which will cause the vehicle to fail to start; this failure occurs when the vehicle is in a driving state, which will cause the vehicle to lose driving power, and in extreme cases, it may increase the risk of collision of the vehicle, and there is a safety hazard. To date, no accidents or injuries related to such problems have been reported.
To this end, the update adds a program that activates the rear motor inverter component self-test when the vehicle is charging, which continuously monitors the status of the rear motor inverter and kills possible failures in the cradle.
After receiving the update, the vehicle version will be downgraded back to 2022.4.5, regardless of whether you have previously upgraded to 2022.8.2.

It is now possible to activate the child lock for only one rear door. Tap Control > Child Lock, and then select Sides, Left, or Right.
- Attach phone app controls

Dog mode and camping mode can now be enabled via the Tesla mobile app.

The touch screen now displays Turkish. To switch language settings, tap Control > Display > Touchscreen language.
- Additional bottom bar customizations

You can now add vehicle controls such as defrost, windshield wipers and seat heating to the bottom bar. Press and hold any application to enter edit mode, then drag the desired control to the bottom bar.
