At the 2024 Beijing Auto Show, Yangwang's new sedan Yangwang U7 made its debut, and the new car is positioned as a flagship large sedan, based on the Yi Sifang platform, and the future price may reach the million level.
In terms of appearance, the front face of the new car adopts a design style close to that of the U9, the grille adopts a closed shape, with a strong sense of edges and corners, and the blackened C-shaped headlight cluster is integrated with lenses and wrap-around daytime running lights, and the style is very sharp. The front hatch is designed with a number of raised rib lines, which has a strong sense of muscle.
The lower bumper adopts a through-air intake, and the interior is decorated with a black honeycomb structure to effectively stretch the horizontal visual width of the front face, and the front lip part is also exaggerated to highlight the sporty atmosphere.
In terms of side styling, the roof adopts a fastback shape, the sense of lines appears relatively smooth, the two-tone body creates a floating roof, and the overall sense of sportiness is in place; the waistline adopts a through-type design, extending from the front fender to the rear of the car, embellishing the layering of the side of the body; the wheels adopt a five-spoke petal shape, and the style looks more stylish.
In terms of rear styling, the top of the trunk is designed with a slightly upturned ducktail and an electric lifting spoiler, the blackened tail light cluster adopts a through-type design, which effectively stretches the horizontal visual width of the rear of the car, the trapezoidal license plate frame area adopts a concave design, which embellishes the three-dimensional sense of the rear, and the lower surround part is equipped with a layered black trim plate and chrome strips, which is more exaggerated.
In terms of dimensions, the length, width and height of the new car are 5265/1998/1517mm, and the wheelbase is 3160mm, positioning it as a large sedan.
In terms of assisted driving functions, the new car will be equipped with the Eye of the Gods high-end intelligent driving, including three lidars, five millimeter-wave radars and 13 cameras, with a computing power of up to 508TOPS.
In terms of chassis, the new car debuts the Yunnan-Z suspension system, which replaces the traditional hydraulic shock absorber with four highly integrated suspension motors, which can adjust the response speed as fast as 10 milliseconds, and can also directly generate electricity through the suspension motor to achieve energy recovery and charge the battery.
In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a powertrain composed of four front and rear motors, and it is based on the Yi Sifang platform, with a maximum power of 326 horsepower for a single motor, a comprehensive maximum power of 1306 horsepower, and a maximum speed of 270km/h.
