The long-awaited Geely Galaxy new SUV E5 was not released at the Beijing Auto Show, but the Galaxy flagship car was announced. However, recently, the unfaked road test spy photos of the Geely Galaxy E5 were exposed, and the new car is a medium and large pure electric SUV based on the SEA architecture platform, which is expected to be unveiled in the second quarter of 2024. It is powered by a single-motor drive system.
In terms of appearance, the new car adopts the Galaxy family design language as a whole. The front face is closed with a front grille, highlighting the identity of new energy. The new narrow LED light clusters on both sides have a sharp shape.
The straight body waistline looks more tough. The D-pillar has a slightly fastback tail design, concealed door handles, and new twin 5-spoke low-drag wheels. At the rear, the blackened through-type taillight cluster shows a more sporty atmosphere.
Spy photos of the interior have not yet been revealed, and it is expected that the interior of the new car will adopt the interior design of the Galaxy E8, and the center console will adopt a 45-inch 8K screen triple screen design layout. In terms of configuration, the new car is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 car computer chip and is equipped with the new Galaxy N OS system.
The power parameters have not yet been revealed, and in terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a single stand-alone drive system with a maximum power of 160kW, paired with a ternary lithium battery pack, and equipped with an Aegis battery safety system.
