How long is an EAC Certificate or EAC Declaration valid?
In the case of continuous delivery, an EAC Certificate or EAC Declaration shall be valid for a maximum of 3 or 5 years and shall be subject to the provisions of the specifications of the corresponding Technical Regulations. It can also be issued by a FAC certificate for only one year or a single sale or a single batch and a single unit certificate. There are also some regulations that are more special, such as the EAC Certificate for Cars and Auto Parts, which is generally valid for a maximum of 4 years.
Who is obliged to obtain CU-TR Certification/EAC Certificate from the Customs Union?
Legal entities or individual enterprises that produce certain new (non-old) products on the EAEU market of the Eurasian Economic Union must obtain a certificate of conformity of the Eurasian Union Technical Regulations CU-TR:
Manufacturer (producer);
Authorized representative of the manufacturer (producer) in Eurasia
Suppliers in the Eurasian Union (importers, exporters)
Seller
Only residents of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) (enterprises registered in the territory of the EAEU member states) can submit an application for CU-TR certification of goods in accordance with the TR CU/EAEU Technical Regulations.
Different products are certified by means of EAC certificates and EAC declaration to confirm whether the product complies with the Technical Regulations of the Eurasian Union CU TR / Customs Union EAEU TR due to different regulatory regulations and different degree of risk of the product. 1 Step: Submit the application to the designated Eurasian Union Authorized Accreditation Certification Body
2 Step: Appoint a certification body to check the technical documentation
3 Step: Product Classification and Sampling
4 Step: Sample test, complete test report
5 Step: Manufacturer's factory audit (if specified in the Technical Regulations)
6 Step: Enter the Rosakkreditation Registration Server and issue the EAC Certificate/EAC Declaration of Conformity.
7 Step: Monitoring of certified products
EAC Certificates of Conformity/EAC certificates : Sample tests and factory audits are mandatory, with annual audits.
EAC Declaration of Conformity/EAC declaration: Model 1D can be evaluated on the basis of the test report provided by the enterprise, without the need to send samples for testing. Sample testing is also required if other modes are used. Factory audits are only required for the first time in 6D mode. There is no annual surveillance audit.
