Recently, according to relevant media reports, the new Geely Boyue L will be officially launched on May 19. It is reported that the new car is still positioned as a compact SUV, based on the CMA architecture, and will have three power systems: 1.5T, 2.0T and 1.5T hybrid.
In terms of appearance, the overall design of the new car has not changed much, and it still adopts a continuous LED daytime running light cluster, with a large front grille and a scale-style center grille design. The front fascia is decorated with longitudinal vents on both sides of the front fascia, which are integrated into the LED light clusters to form a one-piece shape. The front bumper of the new car also adopts a through-type reminder heat dissipation opening design, which has a good sense of sportiness.
On the side, the roof is different from the body's colour, with the waistline raised to the rear, the front and rear fenders with black wheel arches, and 18- and 19-inch wheels to choose from. At the rear, the new car is equipped with a roof spoiler design, and adopts a through-type blackened taillight cluster design, and the taillights on both sides show a triangular style, which is very recognizable when lit. In addition, the rear bumper of the new car is also decorated with a rear diffuser, which further enhances the sporty atmosphere.
In the interior, the new car adopts a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument panel with a four-spoke multi-function steering wheel, and the center console is equipped with a 13.2-inch multi-function touch screen with a longitudinal layout suspension design, and is equipped with an electronic shift mechanism.
In terms of power, the new model will be equipped with 1.5-liter and 2.0-liter gasoline engines, as well as a 1.5-liter hybrid system. Among them, the maximum power of the 1.5T engine is 133 kW, the maximum power of the 2.0T engine is 160 kW, and the combined power of the 1.5T hybrid system is 180 kW. In terms of drivetrain, the petrol variant will be mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, while the hybrid variant will be mated to a three-speed DHT gearbox.
