In a family, the father is like the sky, the mother is like the earth, the heavens and the earth are peaceful and clear, the child can be good, and the days can be happy. Lao Tzu said: The heavens must be clear, and the earth must be peaceful.

Qing, is the clear air of the sky, the spring breeze and the warm, describing the father's ability to distinguish between right and wrong and gentle and obedient temper. Ning is the mother's quiet virtuousness, tranquility, tolerance and acceptance of children, and has endless carrying energy.

What is the power that makes parents so elegant and atmospheric, with such upbringing?

Yes one.

One is what?

The way of the family.

There are two necessary conditions for a good life: one is to seek breadth, and the other is to go to selfish desires.

What is breadth?

Study hard, do things conscientiously, enhance ability, broaden horizons, cultivate technology, improve level, help others, and be enthusiastic about public welfare. Wait a minute. The reason for this is to seek their own openness, breadth and thickness. This is: to be broad.

From the three-year-old to the elderly, they are all working hard to make themselves better. Everyone is constantly improving, but why are there still so few successful people? Everyone is desperately pursuing, why are there so few happy people?

Because there is one less kung fu: to go to selfish desires.

Man is a wrong person. It is because of mistakes, shortcomings and weaknesses that you are not very successful, not very happy, and even far from the people around you.

Selfish desires are the accumulation of inner errors. Get rid of it, return the authenticity of human nature, and then you can go light. Otherwise, no matter how well you learn and how rich you get, you can't fully absorb it. Like a cup that is about to fill, pour a lot of water into the cup, and the nature of acceptance is limited.

Some people ask, seeking breadth and de-selfish desires are two things, two, how can it be one?

One, of course, is a heart. The pursuit of beauty and the elimination of evil are all for the beauty of a heart. When the heart is good, the days are beautiful.

Just as Confucius has always been. Zi Yue: See, my way has always been consistent. Zeng Ziyi: Only. Sub-out. The doorman asked: What is also? Zeng Ziyi: The way of the Master, loyalty and forgiveness are enough.

This chapter is from the Analects of Liren IV. This means that Confucius said, Zengsan, the Tao I preached is to take a truth and run it through. Zeng Said, I understand. After Confucius left, Zengzi's brother asked, what does this mean? ZengZi said that the word taught by our teacher is loyalty and forgiveness!

Is forgiveness two or one?

If we say two, we cannot call it one and one, but "two to be consistent." In fact, this is not the case; both faithfulness and forgiveness are cultivation of the mind, cultivating the mind into striving and humility, seeking both breadth and selfish desires. So it's called consistency.

Also like ZengZi's "My Three Provinces and My Body: Seeking For Others and Not Being Faithful?" Friends and not convinced? Can't get used to it? "It's also consistent. It is also like the "five poisonous minds" of the Buddhists: greed, anger, delusion, slowness, and doubt. Quit the "five poisonous hearts" and naturally restore a cool silence and a joyful natural heart. Also like the Catholic "Seven Deadly Sins": arrogance, jealousy, anger, laziness, greed, lust, and gluttony. To dispel the seven original sins is also to receive a bright and peaceful heart. It is also called consistency.

Lao Tzu said: God has one spirit, the valley has one surplus, all things have one life, and the king must think that the heavens are one righteous.

There are two interpretations of the "god" of god and spirit, one refers to the god man, refers to the deceased ancestors, the gods of the heavens and the earth, the sun and the moon, and when they get "one", they will have a spiritual experience and wonder; the other refers to people, referring to children and descendants, who can be blessed with wisdom and double cultivation and great achievements if they obtain "one".

Go down in turn: the mountains and rivers get "one" and are full and smooth, the human affairs get "one" and live endlessly, and the princes and leaders get "one" and become the leaders of the world.

Man and nature are one, called the unity of heaven and man. The sun and moon of heaven and earth "seek breadth and dispel selfish desires" on their own in the change of the four seasons. People can't do it. We need to pay attention, be alert, and reflect at all times.

Lao Tzu was worried. Worry that "one" will not be recognized, will not be implemented, and will not be respected. Therefore, the consequences were fully entrusted to future generations: the heavens could not be clear, I was afraid that it would collapse; the earth could not be peaceful, I was afraid that it would collapse; the people and gods could not maintain their spirituality, I was afraid that they would perish; the river valley could not keep the flowing water flowing smoothly, I was afraid that it would dry up; all things could not maintain growth, I was afraid that they would be destroyed; the prince could not maintain the position of the leader of the world, and he was afraid that he would collapse.

The original text is: It is said that the heavens are infallible, and it will be feared; the earth will be kept, and it will be destroyed; God will have no spirit, and will be afraid of rest; the valley will be exhausted; all things will be born and will be destroyed; the king will be invincible, and he will be afraid of jué.

The crap, when said (jué), means to fall, a metaphor for failure or setback. For example, a slump. In folklore, it is also pronounced juě , which means that animals such as horses, donkeys, and mules kick backwards with their hind legs, knocking people on their backs to the ground.

Many people in the pursuit of success, one by one to add glory, power, money and beauty to themselves, for a long time, proud, grumpy, began to hesitate, but it is often themselves who are overturned on the ground.

Only by seeking a wide range of knowledge and at the same time going to selfish desires can we travel safely and steadily, otherwise it is easy to be overthrown by money, power, fame and fortune.

Today's original text is the Tao Te Ching Chapter 38:

He who has attained one in the past, the heavens will be cleared, the earth will be peaceful, the gods will be one with the spirit, the valley will be gained by one, and all things will be born with one life; and the king will be one to think that the heavens are one and the right. It is also said that the heavens are infallible and will be torn apart; the earth will be pacified, and it will be destroyed; God will have no spirit and will be afraid; the valley will be exhausted; all things will be born and will be destroyed; the king will be unable to be righteous, and will be afraid.
