Recently, GAC Acura released the news of delisting, from 2023, GAC Honda will no longer produce and sell all models under the GAC Acura brand, and will integrate resources such as GAC Acura brand and stores in the future to join the electrification business.
In terms of after-sales, GUANGC Honda will continue to provide maintenance and repair services for Acura car owners through GAC Acura special stores and GAC Honda 4S stores that have transformed the electrified sales service network to ensure that the rights and interests of car owners will not be affected.
It is reported that Guangqi Honda is accelerating the construction of a new channel model with the theme of electrified sales service stores and supermarkets, and from 2022 onwards, GUANGQI Honda will continue to launch e:NP brand series electric models at the pace of one new car per year.
GAC Acura currently has two models on sale, CDX and RDX, and the Acura TLX-L, which has been discontinued.
GAC Acura released its first model CDX in China in 2016 and announced its launch that year, but model sales have always performed average, and the withdrawal of GAC Acura will also herald the comprehensive transformation of GAC Honda's future electrification strategy.
