On April 8, Nissan China announced its March sales figures, with cumulative sales of 87,902 vehicles, down 32.6% from the same period last year.
Among them, Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd.'s passenger car business segment sold 67,910 units in March, down 33.5% from the same period last year.
The light commercial vehicle segment sold 19,992 units in March, down 29.5% y/y.
In addition, Nissan China's cumulative sales in the first quarter of this year were 298863 units, down 15.2% year-on-year.
Cumulative sales in the passenger car segment in the first quarter 242931 units, down 16.9% year-on-year. The light commercial vehicle segment sold 55,932 units in the first quarter, down 6.7% year-on-year.
In terms of models, Dongfeng Nissan's highest sales in March were still Xuanyi, with sales of 30,240 units. It was followed by Tianlai, with sales of 11,679 vehicles.
Compared with January this year, Xuanyi's sales in February and March began to plummet, and sales in February fell by 40.24% month-on-month.
Tianlai also fell in sales for two consecutive months, but the decline was far less than that of Xuanyi.
SUV models have not announced specific sales data, Loulan, Tuda, Qijun, Qashqa and other SUV models, the cumulative sales of 15,234 units in March.
In the sales data of more than 10,000 vehicles, the sales volume of Qashqai should account for about 80%.
Judging from the current market performance of Dongfeng Nissan in the field of SUVs, since the launch of the new generation of X-Trail, sales have plummeted.
Lou Lan and Tuda these two models, the market performance has been tepid.
Fortunately, there are also Qashqai, and sales have always been good.
However, the month-on-month decline in Qashqai sales in February was not small, reaching 36.86%.
Although in March, Nissan officially did not release the specific sales data of Qashqai, it is certain that Qashqai's sales volume is still declining month-on-month.
I checked X-Trail's sales in February and sold a total of 903 vehicles. Down 87.46% year-on-year and 23.73% month-on-month.
Therefore, even if Nissan officially did not announce the specific sales of X-Trail, we boldly predict that X-Trail's sales in March should remain at about 1,000 units.
Dongfeng Venucia, which has returned to Nissan again, has only announced the sales of two models, venucia big V and Venucia D60.
Venucia Big V sold 3408 units, and Venucia sold 60th 894 units.
In terms of new energy vehicles, Venucia sold 1,519 units in March.
As for the luxury brand Infiniti, Nissan China also did not release sales figures, saying only that QX50, Q50L and QX60 drove Dongfeng Infiniti's sales growth in March.
