According to reports, the ideal L9 is equipped with a flagship intelligent driving system - ideal AD Max, which adopts full-stack self-developed sensing, decision-making, planning and control software. Among them, AEB's automatic emergency braking function is optimized for China's road conditions, enhancing the identification of pedestrians and two-wheelers, reducing the incidence of traffic accidents, and enabling rapid iteration through full-stack self-research capabilities.
The Ideal L9 uses a high-performance camera as the primary source of perception, with hardware including six 8-megapixel cameras and five 2-megapixel cameras for 360° omni-directional perception of the body's surroundings and long distances. The combination of two 8-megapixel cameras directly in front of them enables the identification of objects such as vehicles, pedestrians and cone barrels within a wide-angle range of 120° and up to 550 meters.
The forward-facing vehicle-grade lidar is equipped with 128 lasers, a global resolution of 1200×128, and a point cloud count of 1.53 million per second. The ideal L9's intelligent driving computing power platform includes two NVIDIA Orin-X processors, which finally reach 508Tops.
In terms of intelligent driving interaction system, the safe driving interaction screen and HUD will provide the most important environmental and warning information in the state of intelligent driving activation.
Inside the car, the Ideal L9 features a new capacitive sensing steering wheel, fatigue and attention reminder systems to ensure that the driver is using smart driving functions correctly. The main car's electric preload harness provides more direct haptic feedback when necessary. Outside, the ideal L9 is equipped with 5 intelligent driver assistance lights to indicate the working status of intelligent driving to pedestrians and vehicles outside the car.
Once out of the car, the ideal L9 uses an in-car 3D ToF sensor that senses the environment in the cockpit in real time, and an out-of-car camera that monitors the vehicle's surroundings in real time, providing a sentry mode that covers the inside and outside of the car.
In terms of body safety protection, the ideal L9 high-strength and thermoformed steels are used in more than 80%. The front is equipped with a double aluminum alloy anti-collision beam, which can effectively decompose the frontal impact force in the event of a collision. The battery pack of the ideal L9 features a dual protection design consisting of side guard beams and an aluminium alloy housing.
The ideal L9's center control screen, co-pilot entertainment screen and rear cabin entertainment screen can all realize the direct connection of one line of the Nintendo Switch through the Type-C interface.
Ideal Car points out that the Type-C interface provides 60W of charging power while making it easier to connect to the game console, all with a single wire. With the Nintendo Switch designed for home users, it can support four people to play together.
The Ideal L9 is also equipped with a 220V power supply in the car, with an HDMI-Type-C adapter cable. According to Ideal Car, at present, some mobile phones, Pads and laptops that use Type-C interfaces have also achieved high-definition screen projection + charging line, and the ideal L9 will also be adapted to more devices in the future.
