Compared with the current model, the main changes of the new model are concentrated in the power and pure electric endurance, the new DM-i will upgrade the cruising range to 252km on the basis of the current pure electric endurance of 55km and 112km; the new DM-p version adds 200kW rear motor on the basis of the current 1.5T engine + 160kW front motor, realizing four-wheel drive, 0-100km/h acceleration time is also shortened from 8.5 seconds to 4.3 seconds, and pure electric endurance is 215km.
The new Tang DM-i/DM-p adopts the same han DM large mouth grille, and the size is consistent with the current model. In terms of configuration, the new Tang DM-i provides Tanner audio, FSD variable damping suspension, 90kW fast charging, wide temperature range high-efficiency heat pump air conditioning, mobile power station (maximum 6kW); Tang DM-p provides intelligent electric four-wheel drive, Eaton differential lock, large six-seat layout, electronically controlled active suspension, etc. on the basis of the new Tang DM-i.
BYD officially announced that it will stop the production of fuel vehicles from March 2022 and will focus on pure electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles in the future.
