In order to free up production capacity for Han, BYD has transferred Tang's production line to the Changsha factory, and the Shenzhen Pingshan factory specializes in the Han family, with an annual production capacity of 250,000 vehicles.
If the monthly sales reach 20,000 units, Han will surpass the 56E (BMW 5 Series, Audi A6L, Mercedes-Benz E-Class) in luxury cars to become the No. 1 of all medium and large sedans, which is a phenomenon that has never been seen in the Chinese auto market.
What kind of spark will erupt from the Combination of Han + DM-i?
Han DM-i also seems to be worthy of such a heavy responsibility.
On April 10, the 2022 Han was officially launched, with a total of 9 models, priced at 215,800-32.98 million yuan.
BYD officially revealed that 40% of the existing orders of about 50,000 units in Han are from DM-i.
BYD is now in full swing. In the past March, BYD's new energy passenger car sales 104338, becoming China's first "100,000+" new energy passenger car brand with monthly sales, entering the passenger car head camp.
Prior to this, in January and February, BYD won the global new energy vehicle sales championship for the second time, which overshadowed Tesla.
If we talk about the biggest meritorious model of BYD's rise in this round, it is not Han, although its sales are not the most, but the gold content is high, becoming the biggest contributor to the brand's upward mobility.
Han EV and Han DM that were listed earlier have achieved success, with cumulative sales exceeding 190,000 vehicles and an average monthly sales of more than 10,000 vehicles, which is the first in the double material of Medium and Large Cars and "High-end New Energy Cars of More Than 200,000 Yuan" for Chinese brands, do not forget that this is a Chinese brand car with an average transaction price of 250,000 yuan, 60% of which comes from luxury brands to buy owners.
If you talk about technology, it is DM-i, BYD has made a lifetime of batteries, did not expect to fire on DM-i.
DM-i is essentially a PHEV, which is 20,000-30,000 yuan more expensive than the same level of fuel vehicles, but it has the driving sense of the tram, and there is no mileage anxiety, and it can also be exempted from purchase tax and green cards, which can not only replace fuel vehicles, but also cover most of the use scenarios of pure electric vehicles.
DM-i is a mess in the market, and consumers are waiting for months. In March this year, DM-i sales have exceeded 50,000 vehicles, which is still only achieved in the case of Tang, Song and Qin three series of models, which has been equivalent to all bydir by BYD's pure electric models.
That is to say, the DM-i's bicycle efficiency is much higher than BYD's pure electricity. Theoretically, the sales of Han DM-i will exceed that of Han EV, and the Han family will not sell 20,000 vehicles per month?
The fuel consumption is 3.9L/100km, and it can't enter the top three
At the product briefing, the relevant person in charge of BYD brushed over the technical parameters of Han DM-i, and obviously had absolute confidence in the car.
Han DM-i also has such a cost, the car roughly follows the exterior interior of Han EV, in simple terms, it is a medium and large C-class sedan, the interior also meets the standard of luxury cars, it is not much to repeat, see the picture can be.
Han DM-i full power and full fuel comprehensive endurance of 1300 kilometers, the whole series supports fast charging and slow charging, more comprehensive than Han EV.
BYD's strongest model + the strongest technology built by the Han DM-i, how to drive?
In fact, I haven't tried it yet. As early as 2018, I bought a "542" (5 for zero hundred acceleration within 5 seconds, 4 for full-time electric four-wheel drive, 2 for 100 kilometers of fuel consumption within 2 liters) level of Tang DM, but its "electricity a dragon, no electricity a worm", after a period of time, I transferred it to a friend who has a charging pile at home.
Recently, I have test-driven many models such as Tang DM-i, Song PLUS DM-i, Qin PLUS DM-i, and I am more familiar with DM-i: even in the case of power shortage, they still have a driving sense close to trams, changing the drawbacks of previous DM models.
For a PHEV, the most important indicator is its power performance, because when the power is sufficient, it is a pure electric vehicle; and in most cases, the PHEV is in a state of inertia.
We test drove the Han DM-i 121km Premium Edition priced at 235,800 yuan, and when we got the car, the power was only 20%, which was already in a state of panic.
After passing through the 28-kilometer highway, the car we tested increased to 23% of the electricity, still in a state of emergency, and officially entered the fuel saving race.
The race section is to run a high-speed plus a section of national highway, the whole journey is about 60 kilometers, lasts about 1 hour, and will also encounter traffic lights and relatively large uphill and downhill.
In the end, the comprehensive fuel consumption measured by the three of us was 3.9L/100km, which was lower than THE NEDC's 4.2L/100km fuel consumption, and I was secretly happy at the time: how can this result also win a championship! I didn't expect that even the top three could not enter, the champion, runner-up, and third place were 3.5L/100km, 3.6L/100km, 3.7L/100km, it was really inferior!
Fuel saving race and daily driving is still different, we used a more fuel-efficient way to drive, such as the high-speed section is basically at 80km/h cruising, try not to step on the brakes and drive at a uniform speed, and even some people turn off the air conditioning, the temperature outside the car is close to 30 degrees.
The high-speed texture is close to pure electricity, and the fuel consumption is also low
The test drive, a total of 260 kilometers round trip, there are highways, urban roads, country roads and mountain roads, basically covering the road conditions we encounter every day.
After the arduous fuel-saving race, the return trip is almost a city expressway and highway, there are no restrictions, driving freely, and you can appreciate the driving pleasure of this car.
The most direct feeling is - quiet, compared to the noise of the fuel vehicle, Han DM-i is very small when the engine intervenes, unless you slam on the accelerator, you can't hear the sound of the engine intervention, and the intervention is also very smooth, and the power connection is smooth and fast.
How quiet is it? At a speed of 120 km/h, the noise inside the HamM-i car was only 62 decibels, equivalent to library-level tranquility, and the two people in the same car had fallen asleep soundly.
Han DM-i's official zero hundred acceleration time is 7.9 seconds, the data is not amazing, but even in the condition of the poor electric, the proportion of Han DM-i electric drive is still absolutely dominant, can achieve no-gauge variable speed, farewell setbacks, the driving experience is infinitely close to pure electric vehicles, the engine intervention is also running in the best speed range, overtaking is a matter of an instant.
In addition, the HamM-i features a front McPherson, rear multi-link suspension system, and is tuned exclusively by former Mercedes-Benz chassis specialist Hans Kirk.
The effect of tuning is obvious, the car is driving during the cornering feeling is solid, bumps and filtration thoroughly, especially in high-speed driving body stability, the overall creation of the German high-grade chassis texture, in short, Han DM-i let you drive both cool and very confident.
The fuel consumption of 50 kilometers is 4.8L/100km, which is not the same as the results of the fuel saving race, but it is also quite amazing, after all, the Han DM-i is a big car weighing 2 tons.
Intelligence is indispensable, and Danna audio is the icing on the cake
As a plug-in hybrid model that can be green card, technology and intelligence are indispensable factors, such as L2 level automatic assisted driving.
