Fu Daozhi (福道志), also spelled Daozhi (字道之), was born in 1943 in Nanyang, Henan. In the 1950s, he participated in the construction of the northwest. He has served in the Qinghai Provincial Library and the Qinghai Provincial Department of Culture, and is currently the vice president of the Chinese Contemporary Calligraphy and Painting Art Research Association and a professor of the Oriental Art Research Institute. Since childhood, he has loved calligraphy. After more than thirty years of study, he first established his bones with Tang Kai, then directly pursued Wei and Jin, and was involved in the Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties. The font is written in italics, overflowing into grass, and integrated into the seal, trying to open up a new aesthetic field in the grass world. The seal is equipped with five bodies, especially the grass. The book is majestic and powerful, the pen is vigorous, not only has the charm of Wei and Jin, but also has the interest of the Song people, and has a thick and huazi, high style and ancient style.

His works have won many awards in China and have been included in more than 20 classics such as "Dictionary of Chinese Talents", "Selected Collections of Chinese Calligraphers", "People's Artists", "Collection Dictionary of Famous Calligraphy and Painting Artists of the Twentieth Century", "Grand View of Famous Characters in the Twentieth Century", etc. He was awarded the honorary titles of "Outstanding Artist of China Oriental", "Contemporary Powerful Calligrapher and Painter", "Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Talent" and other honorary titles by the Qualification Recognition Committee of Contemporary Calligraphy and Painting Artists. His works have been exhibited at the National Art Museum of China, Jiangsu Art Museum, Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum, Turin, Italy, Milan Art Museum, New York, Seoul, Singapore, Hong Kong and other parts of the world. Due to his outstanding artistic level, his works have also been made into American stamps and EU multinational stamps for distribution around the world under the title of "China on World Stamps". In August 2019, he was also invited to attend the launch ceremony held in Paris, France, and exchanged views with artists from all over the world. The works of oracle bones "Passed on by the Teacher to The Ancestors", Jin Wen "New Pine Hate Is Not Tall, Wrong as a Thousand Branches", cursive "Guan Hai Tingtao", "Hai Na Bai Chuan", "Dripping Water Through The Stone" were exhibited in the Louvre, causing a great sensation, being highly praised by the art world, and winning honors for the motherland.
