Currently, "A Moment of Flowers: Furuya Eiwa & Ishida Taido Double Solo Exhibition" is on display at Yanwu Gallery. You can go to the scene to experience the extraordinary beauty of a fleeting flower, and at the same time, you will have more resonance and thinking about nature and life.
Ena Furuya uses batik to depict cascading blazing flowers, expressing the exploration of life and reverence for nature. She conveys the unique aesthetic consciousness of the craftsmanship of the craft with her heart in a new form, explores new possibilities of expression, and creates a personal artistic style in her works, whether bewitching or luxuriant.
Ishida Taido focuses his sculptures on the beauty of nature, and he hopes to turn the flowers of momentary beauty into "fossils", which can also be said to be symbols of life, and envelop them in "eternal" beauty. Looking closely at the scratches on those works, it seems to be rebelling against the solidification of standard beauty, or the imprint of the flower of life.
