Nowadays, when many young people have a budget of 300,000 yuan and plan to buy a luxury mid-size car, then Mercedes-Benz C-Class, BMW 3 Series and Audi A4L must be unavoidable choices, and I am no exception. I test drove the 2022 40TFSI luxury dynamic model, that is, the 2.0T low-power sub-low-end model, this car gives me the feeling of being the chassis, the road sense is clear, the steering wheel is very light, the turns, the U-turns are very flexible, and it is obviously tuned for the sporty style.
The reasons for not choosing the Audi A4L are mainly in the following aspects, one of which is that the comfort of this car cannot satisfy me, not only the chassis is hard, the seat is also hard, and it is not particularly comfortable to sit on it for a long time. Second, although this car has been remodeled several times in recent years, the interior has not changed much, it is Audi's main sense of technology, but it is not reflected in the A4L, the sense of luxury and technology is much worse than the other two opponents at the same level, if you can change the interior of the A6L, the competitiveness will be much stronger. Third, the new car smells too big, I myself suffer from allergic rhinitis, the nose is not very comfortable after the test drive, and many car owners have feedback on this problem.
After trying the Audi A4L, I went to test drive the BMW 3 series, about the appearance of this generation of 3 series, many people think it is more handsome, but in fact, I personally prefer the front face design of the previous generation F35 BMW 3 series, but unfortunately the economic conditions at that time were not allowed, and I always felt too radical for this generation of 3 series. However, in terms of interior, this generation of BMW 3 series is indeed a great upgrade, once you enter the car, you can obviously feel its sense of luxury and technology, the car uses more soft materials, the elbows often touch the area are wrapped in leather, the 12.3-inch full LCD dashboard display effect is also very cool, plus the "thong" steering wheel and "chicken leg" electronic gear, everything is still familiar BMW taste.
Regarding the space, bmw 3 series and Audi A4L are not much different, after all, the wheelbase is more than 2.9 meters, the rear space is enough, but the BMW 3 series seat comfort is much better than the Audi A4L, the cushion is thick and soft, and it is very comfortable to sit on. I test drove the 2022 325Li M sports suit, all said that this generation of 3 series in terms of handling is not as fun as before, but I still feel handy after driving, the steering wheel pointing is accurate, ZF 8AT gearbox shift timing is unusually good, and even in normal mode, the power of this car is surging enough, the most important thing is that the chassis tuning is much more comfortable than the Audi A4L, will not let you know how many small stones are crushed, but it ensures enough support.
Finally, in terms of price, the BMW 3 Series is much higher than the Audi A4L, but I still chose it, in fact, it is not that Audi is not good, if I go back to before the age of 30, maybe I will not hesitate to choose the A4L, but now that I am 35 years old, I am no longer the unconcerned chaser teenager, so the BMW 3 Series is more suitable for me. However, there is a saying that today's BMW is no longer the BMW of the year, in order to cater to users, BMW did give up some driving pleasure and turned to comfort, but this change is indeed very in line with the needs of consumers, which is why the BMW 3 Series in the past two years in terms of sales has been pressing Mercedes-Benz C-Class and Audi A4L main reason, do not know for these two cars, who are you more optimistic about?
