The student asked: Hello teacher! How should the last sentence of this poem be said?
Zhong Zhenzhen replied: Pan Tao's poetry collection is no longer passed on. For this poem, see the volume of Song Jiang Kui's "Collected Poems of Baishi Daoists": "Yuju Is on the Amaranth Creek, adjacent to the White Stone Cave Heaven." Pan Dejiu is written in the name of The White Stone Daoist and is known as a poet. Its words are: The human official is like a plucked bun, and the dry pine is also a doctor. The new baishi daoist is called, and there is no rebuttal of the title. ”

"Pan Dejiu", that is, Pan Tao, the word Dejiu, the number of the turning temple. A well-known poet of the Southern Song Dynasty and a friend of Jiang Kui.

Jiang Kui's text does not record the title of this poem. And when Pan Tao wrote this poem, Jiang Kui did not have the title of "White Stone". Therefore, the four-character poem title of "Gifting Jiang Baishi" is drafted by posterity and is not enough evidence.

"Human officials are like a bowel": 摴蒱 is a gambling game in ancient times. This sentence is to say: The official positions and titles in the world are like gambling, very accidental, all rely on luck.
"Harvest to dry pine also doctor": picking, that is, "color". The way to play the beard is to roll the dice. There are five dice, each with a black and white side. If five of them are black, it is the highest "harvest". The reason why today's lottery is called "lottery" and winning the lottery is called "winning the lottery", this is how it came. This sentence immediately follows the previous sentence: "The first prize" falls on the head of the dry pine, and the dry pine can also be awarded a high-level title like the "Five Doctors". The Book VI of the Chronicle of History, "The Benji of the First Emperor of Qin", records: "In the twenty-eighth year, the First Emperor went east to the counties ... It is a mountain of Taishan, a standing stone, a seal, and a shrine. Down, the wind and rain storm came, resting under the tree, because the tree was sealed as the fifth doctor. "White Stone Daoist New Worship": In ancient times, emperors granted and bestowed on their subordinates official positions, titles, and titles, and their subordinates had to kowtow to Xie En. Here, Pan Tao said humorously: I have newly given you a "White Stone Daoist" number. This is tantamount to putting yourself in the position of emperor. Fortunately, the political environment of the Song Dynasty was relatively relaxed, and the poet would not be severely punished for saying a witty remark and charging him with "trespassing".
"No pay to refute any title": No, no. Rebuttal, in this case, is objected to. This sentence means: I give you this number, no one will object, you can safely call yourself that, and let others call you that.
With regard to the word "refutation", since it involves the ancient canonical system, it is necessary to say a few more words here.
Song Zhao Sheng's "Essentials of the Dynasty and the Wild", Volume IV, "Shu Huang", says: "Everything is combined with the scriptures to be read by the Zhongshu, and the Zhongshu is the person who writes the book." After the completion of the book, he prepared to record Huang, and passed through Shangshu Province to implement it. If it is not feasible, it is not written and played, which is called refutation. ”
Song Yuan Xie's "Shu Shu Qian" Volume 1 "ShunDian" said: "Na Yan, the official of the mouthpiece." The so-called "cashier king's order, the king's mouthpiece" in the "poem" is also. In later life, it is the official of the Gu NaYan and the cashier who gives the order. The order of the Lord shall be pronounced; it shall not be properly repudiated. The declarant is called out, and the dismisser is called accepted. ”
Briefly speaking, in the Song Dynasty, all important political decisions, including the appointment and removal of officials, promotions and demotions, rewards and punishments, etc., even if it was the emperor's will, needed to be examined and approved by the people of the Zhongshu and Zhongshu before the documents were issued. If there is no disagreement in the matter, the word "read" is signed on the document; if the Zhongshushe people have no different opinion, they sign the word "line" on the document. If the people who do not sign the matter and the Zhongshu She, they must play the reasons for disagreement for the emperor to think twice. This is called "refutation".
