Recently, we learned from relevant channels that the project cooperation agreement and investment agreement between Syckel Ruipu and Ruipu Seck with an annual output of 20GWh power battery cells and systems jointly established by SAIC Motor group and Tsingshan Group were officially signed in Liuzhou, Guangxi. In the future, it will supply new energy products under SAIC-GM-Wuling.
The signed project plans to build an annual production capacity of 20GWh power battery and system industry base in Liudong New Area, Liuzhou, with a total planned land area of 1400 mu, and the project covers the production and manufacturing of key products such as power battery cells, battery systems, battery core components, cathode materials, and separators.
The total investment of the industrial base is planned to be 10 billion yuan, of which the start-up projects are battery cell companies and battery system companies, with a land area of about 620 mu, divided into two phases to build an annual production capacity of 20GWh new energy power battery cell production lines and 20GWh battery system production lines, with a total investment of about 5.5 billion yuan.
After the project is fully produced, it is expected to form an annual output value of 20 billion yuan, with the goal of building a new energy battery industry base with domestic competitive battery research and development and manufacturing capabilities, focusing on the research and development, production and sales of battery cells, modules, BMS and power battery packs, at the same time, it will expand innovative business, layout CTC chassis, battery ladder utilization, battery recycling and other businesses, and plans to attract upstream and downstream industrial chain enterprises such as positive and negative materials, structural parts, separators and electrolytes, and continue to improve the new energy battery ecosystem.
