Stubbornly believing that reading should be a non-utilitarian thing, the pleasure, enjoyment, and richness of the spiritual world are far more important than what is obtained. I especially appreciate Tao Yuanming's reading method of Wuliu, "Good reading, do not seek much understanding; whenever there is a will, they gladly forget to eat." Make a vow to be "the seed of reading." Reading is also a snowy night visit, rising up, taking pleasure in it, and returning when it is exhausted. Before I liked some tomes, I felt that I was embarrassed not to read several big books, and I was embarrassed to say that I loved to read books, and I was embarrassed to say that I was a reader without reading the "Zizhi Tongjian" and "Twenty-Five History". Perhaps because of interest, suddenly one day I found that my tastes were slowly changing, and the book became smaller and smaller, "Qingfang Jiluo", "×× Literature and History Materials", "×× Zhi" said that some distant stories of places that are difficult to find on the map but are familiar to themselves. Of course, the notes of the Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties and even the literati of the Republic of China were indispensable, and they painfully bought a set of "Notes on the Whole Song" published by elephant publishing house, ten volumes, 102 volumes, and the night of the order, the excitement of the heart almost made me not sleep.
In fact, reading the notes, in the early years of the Qing Dynasty, Zhang Chao's "Shadow of Dreams" can say a few words in any case. This is a good book, I can't put it down; this is a fun book, when I read it, I am very happy to put it down, let go of my own pleasure; this is a wonderful book, full of fun, always in a word, the charm is endless, "what people can't say, what people can't say." Zhang Chao lived in the early Qing Dynasty, the literary network became more and more dense, and the literati with backbones either lost their heads or died in the rivers and lakes, and they also drilled into the pile of old paper and started a career of examination. Zhang Chao was born into a famous family, fifteen years old, and his art articles were praised by those in charge. Maybe it was the creation of people, and later with his Fellow Shandong compatriot Pu Songling with the same disease, the subject field was bumpy, repeatedly tried and failed, maybe there was some fame! He was qualified as a gongsheng and became a hanlin kongmu, a petty official from Jiupin, and now it seems that he is also a deputy chief clerk. However, he was a good friend and a wanderer all his life, compiling books and writing articles, and he also had some fame in the literary circle. At that time, celebrities such as Mao Peijiang, Zhang Zhupo, Kong Shangren, etc. were all his "circle of friends" friends. As a result, such a gorgeous "circle of friends" produced the book "Shadow of Dreams".
Yang Fuji, a bibliophile, scholar, and essayist of the Qianlong Dynasty, commented on the "Shadow of Dreams", saying: "The poetry is the purpose of the poem, before and after, so that the reader can enter the real long seat, circle with the guests, listen to its sweetness, can't help but dance and fly, and the wonders in the ink of The Han Dynasty are also there." I think he is the earliest "WeChat body", and some people call it "Weibo body". He pushed in the "circle of friends", "Flower viewing should be beautiful, drunken moon should be rhymed, and Yingxue should be high." His friend Yu Tanxin followed, "Flowers are beautiful people, the moon is rhyme people, and snow is high people." Not only have you enjoyed the flowers, drunk moon, and reflected snow, that is, it is no different from the beauty, rhyme, and high person. Jiang Hanzheng followed the post, "If you still chew on this Jun, where is the Yangzhou Crane in time." Zhang Zhupo followed, "Gathering flowers, moons, and snow at one time, Hejia, Yun, and Gao are one person, and I should not appreciate it and be intoxicated." "It's wonderful! Funny! It can be said that "Shadow of Dreams" is a faint naked presentation of the life interest and life attitude of traditional literati doctors, seemingly gossiping, minutiae, seemingly interjecting and joking, fighting and laughing, seemingly game entertainment, ancient and modern, but with a rich observation of life, and people and things; a multi-dimensional collision of ideas, tepid, the tip of the iceberg; a kind of beauty in life's playfulness, taste of the body; a clear, transparent and simple temperament texture, is a unique lyrical "sexual spirit"? Is it the heart of a child? Is it the traditional thick and thin hair, fine smoke dye? In their scenes, the moon, stones, snow, reading, flower viewing, composition, wine, tea, poetry, words, songs, books, making friends, discussing things, talking about ancient and modern, are the pictures of the spirit of traditional scholars, or the temperament of traditional China. Lin Yutang "tirelessly promoted the book "Youmeng Shadow" for decades, and translated "Youmengying" to the West in the 1920s and 1930s, which is said to be to let the Western world see Chinese culture and the life and spiritual temperament of Chinese literati.
"Shadow of Dreams" has a saying, "For profound friends, such as reading different books; for elegant friends, such as reading famous poems; for cautious friends, such as reading the scriptures of the sages; for funny friends, such as reading legendary novels." Some people say that reading a book is to make a friend, and reading the notes of these ancients can also be regarded as "God's friends with the ancients"! I think Zhang Chao is an ancient person worthy of divine friendship, "Shadow of Dreams" is worth reading, it is far more exciting than imagined!
