This will be the first time that Xiaopeng Motors has launched new models in four European countries at the same time, demonstrating Xiaopeng Motors' desire to accelerate its layout in the European market and expand its global influence. The booking process of Xiaopeng P5 will be digital, and from now on, users in Shikoku can make reservations online through the new Xiaopeng Motors overseas official website link and mobile app.
In terms of functional configuration, some foreign media said that the European version of the Xiaopeng P5 will be equipped with the advanced intelligent driving assistance system of XPILOT 2.5 and the self-developed in-vehicle operating system Xmart OS of Xiaopeng Motors. Since the high-precision maps used by Xiaopeng Motors in China have not yet landed in Europe, the Xiaopeng P5 in Europe cannot be equipped with the XPILOT 3.5 system for the time being, nor is it equipped with a lidar sensor. However, Xiaopeng Motors promised to continue to add new features and optimize existing functions for European users of Xiaopeng P5 through OTA upgrades of firmware.
In addition, the Xiaopeng P5 will be equipped with a 66kWh battery pack, and the maximum cruising range under WLTP conditions is about 465km. At the same time as the Xiaopeng P5 opened for pre-order, Xiaopeng Automobile also opened its first store in Westfield Mall, a bustling business district in Leidschendam, the Netherlands, to showcase the Xiaopeng P5, P7 and two-person intelligent electric aircraft Traveler X2 prototypes.
