Well-known media people test-drive Mercedes-Benz EQS after a bad review: pulled across to unbelievable

As the current top electric vehicle of Mercedes-Benz, EQS was listed in December last year, and the domestic price range reached 1.0796-151.86 million yuan, and the positioning and price are worthy of the flagship.

However, Mercedes-Benz's peak in the era of electric vehicles can still be singled out many "fatal" problem defects.

Recently, Jason Cammisa, former senior editor and auto media personality of the well-known automotive media "Motor Trend", recently test-drove the Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 in depth, and then made a huge "bad review", he commented on EQS on social media:

EQS, a new car from a company with no new thinking, was so maddening that I even thought Mercedes wouldn't build a car anymore, so I turned my head and drove a new S580 and found out that the problem wasn't mercedes, it was the (EQS) car.

The rear of this electric "S-class" is comparable to the Toyota Corolla, and it can't even accommodate men of medium stature; the center control screen is obviously designed by people who have never driven a car, and it is quite dangerous to use.

At night, even if the brightness is turned to the lowest, it is enough to "blind", of course, you can turn off the screen, and then all the functions are turned off, including the air conditioning in the car.

The brakes of the vehicle are really too non-linear, as if there is a hole in the braking stroke, the body is completely out of control, I have driven thousands of cars on the highway of the test drive, and no car has ever been shaking and bumping like EQS.

However, as Mercedes-Benz's top electric vehicle, the vehicle's point is also obvious, the power response is silky, quiet, the steering radius is surprisingly small, and the corner grip is very good.

The Mercedes-Benz EQS was supposed to be an electric version of the S580, but it actually felt like a team that had never built a car, drawing a childish cartoon in an attempt to explain the meaning of "luxury", and I really couldn't understand why this could happen to a company like Mercedes-Benz.
