A few days ago, Nezha Automobile held a media conference in Beijing, revealing its product planning for 2022, in which a new product, Nezha S, will be released this year. The new car is based on Nezha's latest Shanhai platform, which is the first product of the platform, positioning a compact pure electric coupe, and is expected to be officially listed at the end of the year. Other Nezha product plans also include that the new Nezha U Pro will debut at the Beijing Auto Show and be launched on June 22; at the same time, the Nezha V series models will also usher in a facelift and upgrade on June 22.
Nezha S previously debuted during the 2021 Guangzhou Auto Show, and the exterior styling retains a large number of design elements of the concept car, using the popular split headlight combination and closed grille shape.
The biggest highlight of the appearance is that the body side adopts the body shape of the coupe, and the large-angle back design creates a rhythmic visual experience, which not only increases the sports atmosphere of the whole vehicle, but also helps to improve the mileage. It is reported that its wind resistance coefficient will be less than 0.23Cd.
Similarly, the rear shape of the car is also in line with the aesthetics of young consumers, using a rather simple design style, and the through-type taillight group shape is also eye-catching, and the interior adopts a quite high-tech light source layout. In terms of other technology configurations, Nezha officially said that the new car will use a 21-speaker sound system, a panoramic dimming canopy, and a dual lidar.
In terms of power, the new car will provide two power versions in the future: extended range and pure electric. Among them, the comprehensive mileage of the extended range version can reach up to 1100km, while the cruising range of the pure electric version can also reach 800km, not only that, the acceleration time of Nezha S 100 km is only 3.9 seconds. In terms of safety, the self-developed HOZON EPT4.0 battery constant temperature management system equipped with Nezha S has achieved a constant temperature ratio of 95%, ensuring power output and improving battery life. In addition, the self-developed PDCS2.0 power domain controller system equipped with Nezha S can bring users a safer and smarter vehicle management and travel experience.
Finally, Nezha Automobile also announced the global strategic plan of "going to sea", saying that it will expand its sales channels from 173 cities to 250 in 2022, while the number of directly operated stores will increase to 100 and build 15 super user centers. This year, Nezha will also plan to export overseas, will produce a right-hand drive version of Nezha V, open up the Southeast Asian market, and will also plan to enter the European market in the future.
