According to the statistics compiled by the editors of the car purchase network, the wholesale sales of domestic independent compact SUVs in January 2022 were 363,300 units, which was 160,000 more than the sales of joint venture compact SUVs. Sales increased by 7.6% compared to 337,800 units in the same period last year and 1.3% sequentially compared to December.
In January, there were 14 models of autonomous compact SUVs that sold more than 10,000 units wholesale. Among them, three models have sold more than 30,000 vehicles, and these three models are Haval H6, Changan CS75 and Changan CS55. Compared with the same period last year, Haval H6 and Changan CS75 sales fell by more than 20% year-on-year, while Changan CS55 sales increased by 1.35 times.
BYD Song New Energy sold 20,722 vehicles, ranking fourth, slightly higher than last month's sales, a new high in one year. Since November last year, BYD Song New Energy has maintained sales of about 20,000 vehicles for three consecutive months.
Changan Auchan X5 sold 16,400 vehicles, ranking fifth, and also created the best sales level since its listing. The Sales volume of Changan Auchan X7 was 10,159 vehicles, ranking thirteenth. In January this year, Changan Automobile sold more than 30,000 models and more than 10,000 vehicles in two models, so it is no wonder that Changan Automobile can become the best car company in SUV sales.
Geely Boyue sold 16,107 vehicles in January, ranking sixth, down 46.7% year-on-year, only about half of the sales of rivals Haval H6 and Changan CS75. The Trumpchi GS4, once one of the top three autonomous SUVs, sold 13,523 units in January, ranking seventh.
It is worth mentioning that as The Wuling Star, which will be listed in 2021, the sales volume in January continued to exceed 10,000 vehicles, reaching 11,509 vehicles; the sales volume of Geely Xingyue L was stable, reaching 11,492 vehicles, ranking tenth.
Tank 300 sales continued to exceed 10,000 units, reaching 10,363 units, making it the best-selling hardcore SUV model. The Haval Divine Beast sold more than 10,000 vehicles in January, reaching 10,085 vehicles.
In addition, the Roewe RX5 sold 12,074 units, ranking eighth; Chery Tiggo 7 sold 11,138 units, maintaining the sales level of 10,000 vehicles.
