BYD Seal follows the design language of the Ocean-X concept car, which is the design concept of "marine aesthetics". The LED headlights on both sides are extremely sharp and highly recognizable. In addition, the coupe-style body and the raised lines of the hood combine with the compact body proportions to create a strong sense of muscle and sport.
From the side, the structure of the long wheelbase + short front and rear suspension also greatly restores the Ocean-X concept car design, enhancing the vehicle's handling and bringing more internal use space. This design is very similar to the Tesla Model 3.
In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4770 * 1860 * 1460mm, the wheelbase is 2900mm, the size is between the Tesla Model 3 and the BYD Han EV, of which the 2900mm wheelbase has also stepped into the B-class car camp.
In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a single-motor rear-drive system with a power of 150 kW and 180 kW, as well as a dual-motor four-wheel drive system with a maximum power of 360 kW, with a maximum speed of 180 km/h and an acceleration time of only 3.4 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h.
