To further reduce noise, the BMW i7 increases the stiffness of the front end of the vehicle, while using foam sound absorption technology inside the tires. At the same time, BMW has also developed customized brackets for the electric motor, and the electric drivetrain has been acoustically optimized to ensure silent operation. BMW claims that sound-absorbing materials are used on the pillars, seats, roof lining and rear luggage racks.
It is reported that bmw i7 will launch i740, i750 and i7 M60 three versions, the corresponding power system will be equipped with single motor, dual motor and three motor versions, of which the maximum power of the M60 version is expected to reach 484kW (650 horsepower), M60 battery capacity of 120kWh, the longest endurance will exceed 650km.
