To further reduce noise, the BMW i7 increases the stiffness of the front end of the vehicle, while using foam sound absorption technology inside the tires. At the same time, BMW has also developed customized brackets for the electric motor, and the electric drivetrain has been acoustically optimized to ensure silent operation. BMW claims that sound-absorbing materials are used on the pillars, seats, roof lining and rear luggage racks.
