The "Securities Daily" reporter checked the sky eye to confirm that Weilai Technology has undergone industrial and commercial changes, the status of the enterprise has been changed from existence to cancellation, and the reason for cancellation is the resolution to dissolve.

According to the information of Tianyancha, Weilai Technology was established in July 2019 with a registered capital of 7 billion yuan, and its business scope includes wholesale of auto parts; technology development of new energy vehicles and related parts, etc., and Li Bin serves as the company's legal representative and chairman.

For a time, rumors were rife, some people thought that this was the result of Weilai Automobile CEO Li Bin setting off a confrontation between oil and electricity, and some people speculated that Weilai's "pyramid scheme" model collapsed. On February 17, Weilai Automobile told the "Securities Daily" reporter that the company has not actually operated and has no impact on Weilai's business. The relevant person in charge said, "(Unexpectedly) deregistered a company that has not actually operated, and actually landed on the first hot search of Douyin." ”

NIO technology has not actually operated

The year 2019, when NIO Technology was established, was the most difficult year for NIO. At that time, Li Bin, who was once on the verge of breaking the capital chain, was even rated as "the most miserable person in 2019" by the outside world. The background of the establishment of NIO Technology is that in May 2019, NIO signed a framework agreement with Beijing Yizhuang International Investment and Development Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Yizhuang SDIC").

Under the agreement, NIO will set up a new entity "NIO China" in the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone and inject specific business and assets into NIO China, and Yizhuang SDIC will invest 10 billion yuan in "NIO China" to obtain the interests of non-controlling shareholders holding "NIO China". However, nearly a year after the signing of the framework agreement with Yizhuang SDIC, the cooperation projects between the two sides have not made substantial progress. In the end, Yizhuang SDIC insiders ended with a sentence of "we do not vote" to confirm the insubordination of cooperation between the two sides. After that, the plot is that Weilai's Chinese headquarters settled in Hefei, and Beijing Yizhuang chose Xiaomi Automobile.

"The company that was deregistered this time should be a derivative of backdoor financing at that time." Since there is no 'capital', of course, there is no need for 'shell'. Some insiders told the "Securities Daily" reporter that Beijing's goal of building a global intelligent and connected vehicle technology innovation highland has never wavered, but at that point in time, Weilai's life may have made Yizhuang finally dare not bet.

According to Tianyan, from the perspective of shareholder information, WEILAI Technology is jointly held by NEXTEV LIMITILED and NEXTEV USER ENTERPRISE LIMITED.

Through equity penetration, NEXTEVLIMITILED invested in a total of 3 companies, namely NIO Technology, which was deregistered this time, and NIO Holding Co., Ltd., which is still in operation, and Shanghai NIO Financial Leasing Co., Ltd.

Speaking of the impact of the cancellation of NIO Technology, Ma Lin, senior director of corporate communications at Shanghai NIO Automobile Co., Ltd., responded that there was no impact on NIO's business.

NIO has been controversial

At the same time that the cancellation of Weilai Technology continued to ferment, a video about Weilai Automobile was also circulated on the Internet.

The video shows that in the Jinhua section of the Jinhua-Hangzhou-Jinqu Expressway in Zhejiang, a Weilai ES6 suddenly lost control after being rear-ended by a rear vehicle, accelerated forward for 2 kilometers, and hit 5 vehicles successively.

The driver of Weilai expressed his confusion about the process of the accident, saying: "There is a roof in the back of the car, I feel that the speed of the car is faster, I will step on the brakes, but it feels like the car is getting faster and faster, and finally hung up the P gear (stop gear) to stop." ”

Although the accident was eventually investigated, it was confirmed that the accident was caused by the improper operation of the owner. However, the relevant video still caused widespread concern on multiple platforms, and the reporter noted that in the comment area of Douyin, Gao Zan replied: "Weilai Company has been deregistered and dissolved, and the safety of new energy vehicles has a long way to go." ”

In fact, even though the market value of enterprises such as Weilai and Xiaopeng Automobile has risen sharply in recent years and the products have been successfully delivered, the market and some consumers still have considerable prejudice against the new forces of car manufacturing.

"This is also one of the reasons why the cancellation of Weilai Technology can be on the hot search."
