Wang Shuang said that Lele also has some primitive reflexes, so the rehabilitator uses small tools such as cotton swabs and tongue depressors, as well as food stimulation with different textures and tastes, to help Lele oral "desensitization", help the tongue move, induce coherent sucking, and strengthen its strength. Then, gradually induce the swallowing reflex, establish a suck-swallow reflex pattern, and train the palate-pharyngeal function in the process to improve airway safety.
In just one month, Lele has undergone earth-shaking changes, as soon as he sees the food, he is very excited, eating a bowl of rice paste in ten minutes, small biscuits rushing to eat themselves, and the current amount of food has caught up with children of the same age.
Neonatal dysphagia should be intervened in a timely manner
Wang Shuang reminded that there are many children with dysphagia, many of which have not attracted the attention of parents, she has repeatedly emphasized that if newborns and infants have difficulty eating and feeding difficulties, they must intervene in time, because the neonatal swallowing process is a reflex process, and the existence and disappearance of various primitive reflexes are all time, the earlier the intervention, the more it can reconstruct the coordinated sucking and swallowing process, if the best period is missed, it will bring inconvenience to the treatment, and the treatment process will be more difficult.
