In the January 2022 retail sales list released by the Association, FAW-Volkswagen, Changan Automobile and SAIC Volkswagen won the top three in the list, of which Changan Automobile ranked second, surpassing Geely Automobile to become the first independent car company. It is worth mentioning that Changan Automobile only ranked thirteenth in the list in December 2021, which is a rare progress.
In addition to Changan Automobile, BYD, which is thriving in the field of new energy, also achieved a ranking improvement in January 2022, from the tenth place in December 2021 to the seventh place, and achieved an exaggerated year-on-year increase. When domestic SUV models such as Haval H6 and Changan CS75 dominated the top four of the list, the previous list of regulars Geely Boyue did not enter the list, which shows the fierce competition in the SUV market.
