As the flagship model of BYD New Energy, qin PLUS has accumulated sales of 169,800 in 2021, which is a well-deserved champion model of new energy A-class sedan. The Qin series is the opening work of the BYD Dynasty series, the current launch of the Qin PLUS DM-i and Qin PLUS EV sales have climbed, of which the Qin PLUS EV sales in 2021 reached 56151, the 2021 BYD Qin PLUS EV sales exceeded 10,000 in November last year, the sales in recent months are good, january 2022 sales ranked to the ninth place in pure electric models, a total of 7086 sales. These solid achievements represent consumer recognition of BYD and Qin PLUS EV.
At present, the declaration chart of the new Qin PLUS EV has been exposed, and some of the configurations of the old model will be upgraded.
Power upgrades, power increases
Among the Qin PLUS models sold, the average configuration of the EV model is higher than that of the DM-i model.
The Qin PLUS DM-i model is equipped with a 1.5L naturally aspirated + E-CVT stepless variable speed powertrain, with a maximum engine power of 81 kW and a maximum torque of 135 N·m. There are two types of electric motors, namely plug-in hybrid 180 hp and plug-in hybrid 197 hp motors, with pure electric mileage of 55 km and 120 km respectively.
The current Qin PLUS EV has a total of six model configurations, of which there are two kinds of powertrains, pure electric 136 horsepower permanent magnet synchronous motor, the maximum power of the motor is 100kW, and the total torque of the motor is 180N·m. The pure electric 184 hp electric motor has a maximum power of 135 kW and a total torque of 280 N·m. Depending on the version, it matches blade batteries with capacities of 47.5kWh, 57kWh and 71.7kWh, and has a total of 400km, 500km and 600km pure electric cruising range. All series are equipped with electric vehicle single-speed transmissions, with maximum speeds of 130km/h and 150km/h.
One of the highlights of the current Qin PLUS EV is that it takes only half an hour to charge from 30% to 80%, and it is equipped with a high-power DC fast charging function of up to 90kW.
According to the information currently exposed, the biggest upgrade of the new Qin PLUS EV is the power aspect. The maximum power of the high-end version has been increased from the original 135kW to 150kW, while the low-end power and maximum torque have not been upgraded, or the original 100kW and 180N·m.
As for the pure electric mileage, it may also be improved on the basis of the original mileage, and it may also be similar to the original three mileage.
At present, it is known that the new Qin PLUS EV is still equipped with lithium iron phosphate blade battery as standard, which is known as "blade" safety. The reason why the blade battery is recognized by everyone is because the blade battery is safer, stronger temperature control, long life and other characteristics. Up to now, the 2021 BYD Qin PLUS has not been recalled in China, which also shows to a certain extent that the safety of Qin PLUS is still guaranteed.
The dragon face shape remains the same
The body size of the new Qin PLUS EV is 4765*1837*1515mm, and the wheelbase is 2718mm, which is consistent with the size of the old model. According to the feedback of many car owners, the rear space of the current model is very narrow, and according to the data, the length and wheelbase of the new model have not changed, and it is likely to be the same as the rear space of the current model. The new model may have a new design for interior space and increase the rear space, but it is unlikely.
Judging from the currently exposed declaration chart, the appearance of the new model is almost no different from the current model.
The front face of the new model still adopts the design language of the dragon's whiskers, the waist line is designed with a jump at the rear handlebar, the window frame is wrapped in thin silver lines, and the roof is designed for a slippery back. The rear of the car has an upturned design, and the bottom is a through-integrated taillight design.
Interior design at present, the new model does not have an exposure map to show, with reference to the current design, the new model may not change much. The current model adopts the traditional symmetrical layout, the rotatable suspension type 12.8-inch central control large screen technology is full of technology, support intelligent voice interaction, recognition and reaction capabilities have been praised by the owner, but the LCD dashboard under the steering wheel has greatly reduced the texture of the car.
BYD officially announced the price adjustment
According to policy information, this year's subsidy standards for new energy vehicles fell by 30% year-on-year. In addition, due to the price of battery raw materials, new energy vehicles have different degrees of price increases. According to the news of Sina Finance, since February, the current Qin PLUS DM-i, Qin PLUS EV, Dolphin and other models have risen by 3,000 yuan, while the DISCOUNT of EV models fluctuates normally, and other models also have other price range changes.
