The Huaqin Technology signed a contract in Lingang to land the "Automotive Electronics Lingang R&D Headquarters" and "Intelligent Manufacturing Base" projects, with a total investment of 3.7 billion yuan, a total area of 232 acres and a total construction area of 360,000 square meters, which will be fully completed and put into use in 2025. It is expected that in 2030, it will achieve annual revenue of more than 14 billion yuan, attracting nearly 5,000 automotive electronics-related talents, including R&D designers and high-end intelligent manufacturing talents.

Lu Yu, deputy director of the high-tech department of the Lingang New Area Management Committee, introduced that the current hardware link in the Lingang new energy automobile industry chain accounts for a large scale, and the number of enterprises in the automotive electronics link is still relatively small.
"In 2022, the development of Lingang's new energy automobile industry will pay more attention to structure and quality, focusing on the automotive electronics industry, and vigorously developing five major areas of chassis electronics, cockpit electronics, driver control electronics, network electronics, and body electronics," Lu Yu said.
The R&D and manufacturing base of Huaqin in the new area will mainly focus on the field of automotive electronics and consumer electronics, expand the new path of R&D + high-end intelligent manufacturing integration and development in the new area, and create a trinity of integrated services for hardware product research and development, software services and high-end manufacturing of "lighthouse automation factory".
