On April 19, SAIC Motor rolled off the production line for its first vehicle at the Lingang Passenger Vehicle Plant under the stress test of resuming work and production. SAIC Motor actively responded to the promotion of the resumption of work and production of industrial enterprises in Shanghai, and officially launched the stress test on April 18 to comprehensively explore the difficulties and blockages in the resumption of work. The stress test includes personnel support, supply chain support, logistics support, closed production management and epidemic prevention measures, and will fully verify the conditions for resuming work and production.
Strictly referring to the guidelines for epidemic prevention and control, and in order to ensure the health and safety of employees in the closed-loop production environment, SAIC Lingang Base has formulated a series of plans such as epidemic prevention and control, health screening, closed-loop management, preparation and protection and emergency plan before testing. At present, 8 professional teams, including safety, emergency response, logistics, and disinfection, have been set up to fully implement epidemic prevention and control measures. In addition to the basic logistics support, epidemic prevention and elimination are the top priorities in daily work, not only for the employees themselves, but also for the production area, material area, living area without dead ends, strict grid management.
For the next production plan, the relevant person in charge of the Lingang base of SAIC Motor Group said: "Starting from Tuesday, the factory will plan to adopt a single-shift work system, if the supply chain can remain stable, it is also hoped to gradually climb the slope and return to the pre-epidemic scheduling system as soon as possible." In view of the Group's key production tasks, SAIC Lingang Passenger Car Plant will also coordinate resources to the greatest extent and strive to not postpone the project. ”
For the supply chain and logistics guarantee that are the most challenging aspects of the resumption of work and production, nearly 400 suppliers have been identified, and the suppliers' production capacity, inventory, raw materials, etc. have been comprehensively explored. At the same time, it is also paying close attention to the personnel dynamics and production situation of lower-level suppliers, and assisting and supporting lower-level suppliers to speed up the process and prevent epidemics and resume production as much as possible, while SAIC Motor is also docking relevant government departments and striving to open up green channels for cross-provincial and municipal passage as soon as possible.
Since April 18, SAIC Motor's PASSENGER CARS, SAIC VOLKSWAGEN, SAIC-GM, HUAYU AUTO, Anji Logistics and other vehicle, parts and logistics enterprises, focusing on personnel support, supply chain guarantee, logistics guarantee, closed production management and epidemic prevention measures, have launched stress tests for resuming work and production.
In the future, SAIC Motor will comprehensively consider the trend of the epidemic situation, stress test results, etc., and formulate a further dynamic plan for the resumption of work and production.
