Front-line anti-epidemic | cabin robots: distribution, inspection, doctor-patient interaction Medical staff "reduce the burden" of the new force

Financial Associated Press reporter on May 7 (reporter Zhang Yangyang Mao Mingjiang Qiu Hao) After the outbreak of the epidemic in Shanghai, the National Convention and Exhibition Center, Lingang and other major hospitals in Shanghai have successively ushered in robots to undertake centralized meal delivery, epidemic prevention materials, distribution of drugs, sanitize, inspection and other work. These attacking robots have become the right-hand men of science and technology to empower the management of the square cabin and "reduce the burden" for medical staff.

At the end of March, on the eve of Shanghai's global sealing, a robot co., LTD. (YOGO ROBOT) in Shanghai received instructions from relevant departments to dispatch some robots to Lingang, Shanghai (Qingpu) National Convention and Exhibition Center and other cabin hospitals, providing centralized delivery of meals, centralized delivery of epidemic prevention materials, accurate distribution of drugs and daily necessities on demand, online order assignment and other services. At the Lingang Fanggang Hospital, YOGO invested a total of 80 robots to participate in the work.

Ji Jiaping is the operation specialist of the business operation department of YOGO ROBOT, and also the front-line robot operation and maintenance personnel of YOGO ROBOT's participation in the port cabin. On the afternoon of April 1, Ji Jiaping entered the cabin with six other colleagues as the first workers to enter the Lingang cabin.

Unexpected charging, over-the-top problems

"When I arrived, the whole scene was very chaotic, and there was not even electricity," Ji Jiaping recalled to the Financial Associated Press reporter when she first entered the cabin, because the port cabin was still under construction, and it was not officially opened until April 5 to receive patients. Therefore, from April 1 to 5, Ji Jiaping and her colleagues carried out intensive on-site implementation work and various testing sessions.

The first problem is the problem of robot charging, "because for robots, no electricity is equivalent to breaking the lifeline, and the square cabin at that time was still under construction, and the charging of the public relations area was not perfect, and there was only an outlet next to the bed at that time."

"We later borrowed patient beds to charge the robot," Ji Jiaping told reporters, but because each bed is separated by partitions, the gap is also very narrow, and the robot is difficult to accommodate, "In fact, the difficulty of charging is very large."

After the charging problem, another major problem lies in the "passing barrier" when the robot walks. Ji Jiaping told reporters that a large part of the port cabin is transformed from the warehouse, the circuit is not perfect, there are many cables exposed on the ground, causing a lot of "bumps", and there is even a height difference of 10cm in the highest place. The highest height of the mobile chassis of the YOGO robot is 3cm, which is much larger than this limit height.

"Our on-site team began to think about various ways to solve this problem, and finally decided to start building bridges and slopes. At that time, everyone was very anxious, looking for various solutions on what network, it was more appropriate to see what to use to make a bridge on Taobao, and the follow-up was to choose something like a speed bump that was more common every day to go to the hurdle. ”

"The bridge is also a very large workload," Ji Jiaping said, "at the beginning it was 7 of us who laid our own shops, and in the last two days, many workers spontaneously came to help us, because they felt that these slope improvements were very good for the improvement of the cabin environment, so everyone was very willing to help us solve the problem together and lay the bridge together." ”

In addition to charging and repairing the slope, for mobile robots, the more tricky thing is the square cabin environment. Previously, YOGO robots mainly served building scenarios. Ji Jiaping told reporters that the square cabin environment is very different from ordinary buildings, although ordinary buildings have many floors, but the number of points (robot arrival points) on each floor is not so much.

"But the Lingang square cabin is divided into B1, B2, B3 three cabins, a total of 11 wards, an average of more than 110 receiving points in each ward, overall there are more than 1200 points." The work of these points needs to be perfected by YOGO robots, and we need to confirm the accuracy of the robot's autonomous navigation and positioning over and over again. So this is actually a very large amount of engineering, in the early stage we will push the robot to scan the map, the entire cabin it is actually a special area, sweeping the map is also a great workload. ”

"No matter how complex the building scene is, it is not difficult"

In the early stage, YOGO robots mainly reduce the work burden of medical and nursing personnel, and meet the needs of regional delivery and special delivery services in the square cabin for three meals a day. With the advancement of service time, in the later stage, YOGO robots also provide medical notices, medical delivery, doctor-patient interaction and other services on the spot.

For example, the circulation service, which is a new function developed based on the need for nucleic acid detection to help medical staff reduce the workload of patient circulation.

At the square cabin site, Ji Jiaping and colleagues dug into the need for medical staff to personally go to each bed every day, so that everyone can complete the upload of daily self-health monitoring, which is a repetitive labor force, so our robot acts as a mobile small speaker function, every morning and afternoon fixed point twice, running to the middle of each person's bed, reminding everyone to complete the upload of self-health monitoring, the robot screen is pasted with the two-dimensional code of Huashan Hospital directly scans and uploads personal data. Greatly improve the work efficiency of medical staff. ”

In addition, in such a special environment as the square cabin, yogo robots also provide some entertaining functions. Ji Jiaping said that this function is mainly to let all the staff and patients on the scene, the mood can be alleviated, the robot as a mascot in a square cabin, there are zoo series custom skin, custom voice prompts, wish wall, bubble music, wisdom space and other functions.

"What is more impressive is that once a medical staff celebrated his birthday in the cabin, we opened a row of robots and sang him a happy birthday song to celebrate the birthday, and the medical staff was very satisfied and very happy."

Every day, Ji Jiaping and her colleagues basically work in the square cabin for 6 hours. During the daily absence of the cabin, the on-site team also has to communicate back and forth with medical staff, cleaning and sanitation and other staff, excavate the pain points of scene needs, and form a new product plan.

"Mainly because I really want to do something for the cabin, I want to reduce the workload of some medical staff and security guards, and it is still worth it to have such an opportunity."

"After staying in such a scene as the square cabin, I don't think it will be difficult to have a complicated building scene in the future," Ji Jiaping sighed to reporters.

"Medical staff is the greatest peace of mind"

Since April 1, Ji Jiaping and 6 colleagues have been stationed in the front line of the cabin for 37 days. Because they stayed in the quarantine hotel, every morning, they had to drive nearly an hour to the square cabin.

Since they enter the cabin before the two peak hours of lunch and dinner, they have two daily entry times, which are 10:30 am and 16:30 pm. Before that, they have to do all the sanitize and protection work.

"In fact, when I first entered the cabin, I was still a little nervous in my heart, because in such an unknown scene, I was always a little scared." Ji Jiaping admitted to reporters that what made him and his colleagues gradually feel at ease was the medical staff in the same cabin. Ji Jiaping said that every time she entered the cabin to get dressed, the medical ladies and sisters of Huashan Hospital would draw pictures on their protective clothing, joke with them, and reduce the psychological burden. The medical teams from various provinces and cities will give them an inspection before entering the cabin as a final guarantee.

"No gap or any hole in your body can escape their eyes, and they will help you repair it as soon as possible, which makes me feel very touched, because only with their protection can we enter the cabin with peace of mind."
