At the Guangzhou Auto Show, Honda brought its hydrogen-fueled car, CLARITY. As a second-generation model, this car has some upgrades compared to the previous generation: the mileage has increased, from the previous 650km to 750km, and the hydrogenation takes only 3 minutes, which is much more convenient than the 1 hour charging time of electric vehicles. At the same time, the fuel cell of this car is 33% smaller than that of the previous generation, and the fuel cell unit is 20% thinner than the previous one, leaving more room for sitting and storage.
In terms of power, the motor power of the CLARITY fuel cell is 130Kw, and the torque reaches 300N·m, which is about equivalent to a gasoline car of about 1.6T, and the official has not announced the zero hundred acceleration time.
Many people say, where to add hydrogen? At least in Japan, this problem has been gradually solved, and the "H2 Kusatsu Farm" hydrogen station built by the Panasonic Group in Osaka, Japan, was officially put into operation, which can be filled with hydrogen within 3 minutes. According to Panasonic, this hydrogen refueling station uses two methods to produce hydrogen, one is to use solar energy to obtain electrical energy to electrolyze water to produce hydrogen, and the other is a gas reforming process, which can stably produce hydrogen regardless of the weather.
In fact, Japan has long been in the field of hydrogen layout in advance, according to statistics, by the end of last year, the number of hydrogen refueling stations in the world reached 369. Among them, Japan, Germany and the United States rank in the top three in the number of hydrogen refueling stations, with a total of 198, accounting for more than half of the global total, which also shows that the three countries are in an absolute leading position in hydrogen energy technology. According to forecasts, the number of hydrogen refueling stations in the world is expected to exceed 1,000 in 2025.
For those of us who want to overtake in curves, the current development of domestic electric vehicles seems to be difficult to meet expectations, is it necessary to change the direction and catch up with hydrogen energy?
