The Japanese Fairlady Z is almost identical in appearance to the American version, with the only difference being the yellow positioning lights and the rear nameplate added to the American model due to regulatory factors. The difference is that the Japanese version continues the classic "Fairlady Z" name, while the American version only uses "Z" as the name of the new generation of the car system, so the nameplate of the Japanese model behind the ducktail is "Fairlady Z". In terms of car color selection, the Japanese Fairlady Z has a total of 9 kinds of paint options, including yellow, blue, red, dark gray, light gray, white and other five colors, all with a black painted roof to form a two-color configuration, and the other burgundy, silver and black are the same color of the whole car.
In the power unit section, the Japanese Fairlady Z is powered by a 3.0-litre V6 twin-turbo engine code-named VR30DDTT that delivers 405 hp at 6,400 rpm with 475 Nm. The maximum torque of the meter is available at 1,600 to 5,600 rpm. All four classes are available in 6-speed manual and 9-speed manual transmissions. Its average fuel consumption is 10.2 km per litre.
