His research interests include pre-Qin Confucianism, Taoist philosophy, Song Ming Confucianism, etc., and his major works include Confucianism in the Northern Song Dynasty, The Concept of Truth in Chinese Philosophy of Life, and The Communion and Application of Chinese Philosophy.
