According to Article 1093 of the Civil Code, an adopted child shall be an orphan under the age of 18, an abandoned baby or child whose biological parents cannot find his or her biological parents, or whose biological parents have special difficulties and are unable to support their children. The identity of an adopted child can only be queried through adoption registration centres or child welfare agencies.

In other words, it is illegal for individuals to publish adoption information through the Internet, or to set up a website for this purpose.
