What is the nature of money?
What is the nature of money? There are very authoritative answers to this textbook:
Money is money, and the essence of money is the general equivalent. Its functions are five: 1, the scale of value; 2, the means of circulation; 3, the means of storage; 4, the means of payment; 5, the world currency.
I have raised this question here and have roughly excerpted the textbook answers to this question, not to show off my knowledge, but to challenge the textbook answers.
I think:
Money is essentially and is simply a tool for people to cooperate and help each other.
