The Ministry of Culture and Tourism released the overall plan of the "Thirteen Arts Festival" to meet in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei in September

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism issued the notice of the "Overall Plan for the 13th China Arts Festival" on February 7, in which the overall plan of the 13th China Arts Festival released for the first time shows that the 13th China Arts Festival (hereinafter referred to as the "13th Art Festival") is co-sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Beijing Municipal People's Government, the Tianjin Municipal People's Government and the Hebei Provincial People's Government, and the main activities are planned to be held from September 1 to September 15, 2022, and the overall activities will last until the end of 2022.

The festival adheres to the purpose of "the grand event of art and the festival of the people", adheres to the principle of "innovation, openness, quality, sharing and integration", focuses on the creation of literary and artistic works, displays the achievements of artistic development, promotes online and offline linkage, promotes the innovation of performance and broadcasting, and strives to achieve "viewing hundreds of plays, appreciating thousands of exhibits, and gathering the vitality of the masses".

Among them, the festival activities are mainly divided into four stages: the warm-up stage is arranged about a month before the opening. Press conferences were held, and special cultural performances and mass cultural activities were held in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei to create a festive atmosphere. The main event stage will hold six main activities such as opening ceremony, closing ceremony, art appraisal award, specially invited repertoire exhibition, fine art works exhibition, and performing arts cultural and creative exposition. About one month after the closing ceremony, the extension stage will select high-quality plays and outstanding art works to carry out the tour and tour exhibition in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, give full play to the advantages of cultural resources, carry out brand cultural activities, and expand the influence of the achievements of the art festival. In the continuous stage, the "Cloud Theater" platform will be built to provide integrated online services for the creation, rehearsal, performance, publicity and evaluation of high-quality plays, promote the development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Performing Arts Alliance, and create a "never-ending" art event.

The venue is beijing, Tianjin, Hebei province along the high-speed rail line and the city around Beijing and Tianjin as the main venue, and the sub-venues are opened in the sub-center of Beijing, Xiong'an New Area and surrounding urban areas, forming a vivid situation of participation and sharing by the whole people.

The theme of the event is "Welcome to the Twenty Great Endeavors in a New Journey", and it is planned to invite about 100 outstanding stage art works (Taiwan) to participate in the performance, about 70 works (Taiwan) of its Chinese Hua Award, about 30 works of art festival participation (Taiwan), about 100 works of the Stars Award, and about 1,000 works of fine arts, calligraphy and seal engraving and photography works invited and publicly solicited nationwide. Invite delegations, guests and relevant people from all provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps to participate in various activities of the 13th Art Festival.

In addition, the opening ceremony of the 13th Art Festival is planned to be held in Beijing, comprehensively using music, dance, opera and other art forms to fully display the latest achievements in the development of stage art since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, innovate stage performance methods, and present a wonderful opening drama. The closing ceremony is planned to be held in Xiong'an New District, which is intended to stand in the city of the future and look forward to the grand blueprint of the next hundred years. At the closing ceremony, the results of the 17th Wenhua Awards will be announced, the outstanding works of the Wenhua Awards will be displayed, and the handover ceremony of the flag of the Chinese Arts Festival will be held. During the festival, live performances and awards of the 17th Wenhua Awards and the 19th Stars Awards were organized. Tianjin Municipality and Hebei Province organized performances of works participating in the Wenhua Award and the Stars Award. Beijing held the 19th Stars Awards Ceremony.

In addition to the works participating in the Wenhua Award and the Stars Award, 30 outstanding plays (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan dramas) newly created since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (Taiwan) are invited to participate in the performance of the 13th Art Festival. Beijing Municipality organizes specially invited plays to perform. At the same time, it will hold a national exhibition of outstanding fine art works in Beijing, an exhibition of national excellent calligraphy and seal engraving works in Tianjin, and an exhibition of national excellent photographic works in Hebei Province. In the later stage, some outstanding works will be selected and a tour exhibition in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei will be carried out. The National Performing Arts and Cultural and Creative Products Expo was held in Tianjin, and a comprehensive exhibition and trading service platform for performing arts and cultural and creative products was built through the forms of achievement exhibition, work display, project promotion, product trading, etc. Related linkage activities include brand culture exhibitions, art popularization exhibitions, mass cultural activities, youth art creation weeks, etc. Online activities include high-quality repertoire and art technology integration platforms.
