As we all know, the excavation of mausoleums on the mainland is now a rescue excavation, which is naturally allowed to be carried out. So soon the archaeological team carried out excavation work on the mausoleum, because there have been too many tomb robbers who have excavated the mausoleum, so the various organs in the tomb have been almost destroyed, and the excavation work is also very smooth.
When the final excavation work was completed most of the time, the archaeological team found that this was indeed a large ancient tomb, covering an area of more than 400 square meters alone, which can be said to be the largest mausoleum specification in addition to the royal tomb, so the excavation work of the archaeological team is also more and more careful, and it turns out that this is not wrong.
After entering the interior of the mausoleum, the first thing the archaeological team saw was a mess in the mausoleum, the funerary goods in the entire mausoleum had been excavated by the tomb robbers, and there was nothing in the mausoleum except rubble of no value, but when it was about to enter the main burial chamber, the archaeological team found something wrong, that is, the murals on both sides of the yongdao.
In fact, there are no murals in the general mausoleum, or there are murals, but because of the process problems, they cannot be preserved for such a long time. But the frescoes in this mausoleum are not only very exquisite, but also very well preserved. At that time, one of the doubts in the minds of the archaeological team also reached the maximum, that is, what the identity of the owner of the tomb was, and the county chronicle speculated that it was Huo Lujin, but it seemed almost impossible at present.
This doubt was later solved after the archaeological team entered the main burial chamber, and the tomb owner of this mausoleum was indeed not Huo Lujin, but Lou Rui of Northern Qi. This Lou Rui seems to have no reputation, but in fact, his status in Northern Qi is actually very high, and when the official position was at its highest, he had served as an official such as The Great Sima (大司馬), the Great General (大將軍), and the shang shu ling (尚書令), and the luxury of his tomb was taken for granted.
The murals in this mausoleum can be said to be the most precious thing in the whole mausoleum, and these murals are also divided into two parts, one is on the walls on both sides of the corridor, and the other is on a boulder in the main burial chamber. Among them, the frescoes on the boulders are the most exquisite, and now they have become national treasures, and even exports are prohibited.
