On May 18th, Dongguan Municipal Museum will hold the "Treasure of the Tang Dynasty - The Essence of Cultural Relics of Famen Temple", which will display 60 exquisite exhibits (sets) excavated from the Famen Temple Underground Palace in Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, including 29 national first-class cultural relics. This exhibition is an unprecedented exhibition of the essence of the tang dynasty court national treasures, and it is also the highlight of the series of special exhibitions of "Dongguan Quality Culture Capital : Great Beauty and Chinese Civilization". Famen Temple's national treasure debuted in Guangdong on a large scale, aiming to build a platform for cultural exchanges and cooperation and enhance the cultural taste and influence of Dongguan City. At present, the Dongguan Museum is undergoing intense exhibition work.

The treasures that came to Dongguan were led by 4 treasures, a total of 60 pieces/sets. One of the treasures is the tea set that is a representative of the Tang Dynasty court supplies, among which there is a silver cage with Tang gilded gold Feihong Road Pattern, which is an instrument used to hold tea cakes, generally hung in a cool and ventilated place to keep dry. Silver cages can also be used for roasting when tea cakes are wet; there are Tang gilt gold goose pattern silver tea mills, which are composed of tea mill grooves and mill wheels, which are tools for grinding tea powder. This set of tea mills is well preserved, which is the daily use of the Tang Dynasty, and later enshrined in famen Temple, which is the best quality and highest grade utensil in this tea set.

The Tang Dynasty's foreign trade was prosperous, and exotic spices were continuously imported, which promoted the prevalence of the social incense fashion of the Tang Dynasty. The spices and more than 20 pieces of gold and silver incense excavated from the underground palace of Famen Temple reproduce the grand incense activities of the Tang Dynasty court and temple, and are the largest, most diverse and highest-grade incense utensils clustered discovery in the archaeological history of the Tang Dynasty on the mainland so far.

One of the precious cultural relics of Famen Temple exhibited in Dongguan this time, the Tang Gilded Double Moth Group Pattern Silver Sachet, was enshrined by the Tang Sect. With a diameter of 12.8 centimeters, a chain length of 24.5 centimeters and a weight of 547 grams, it is the largest of the eight surviving sachets found in the Tang Dynasty so far. Sheet metal is formed, hollowed out throughout, and partially decorated with gilded. The sachet is an openwork sphere, decorated with five double moth-patterned flowers on the upper and lower spheres, and a crown decorated with four moth-patterned flowers. The bottom of the ball is decorated with folded branches and flowers, and the whole body is a hollow broad-leaved pattern, and there is a lotus bud ornament at the lower end of the chain. The crown has round buttons, a long chain of U-shaped structure on the top, and a ring hook at the end of the chain.

It is reported that Famen Temple is located in Famen Town, Fufeng County, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, and is famous for the placement of buddha finger bone relics. In the Tang Dynasty, Famen Temple almost became the royal temple of the Li Tang Dynasty. In 1987, the excavation of the underground palace of Famen Temple, more than 2,000 pieces of Heavy Treasures of the Tang Dynasty and Buddha Finger Relics were unveiled, shocking people at home and abroad, and this discovery also became one of the most important archaeological discoveries in China in the 20th century. Among the cultural relics unearthed in the underground palace, there are a large number of gold and silverware, glassware, porcelain, jewelry and silk fabrics, which are all royal rewards, exquisite and exquisite, reflecting the highly developed material civilization of the Tang Dynasty, and having important value for the study of social life and religious beliefs in the Tang Dynasty.
