According to the latest data, BYD passenger cars sold 95,180 new cars in January, an increase of 126% year-on-year, of which 92,926 new energy passenger cars were sold, an increase of 368% year-on-year. It is worth mentioning that in the monthly sales, new energy passenger cars accounted for more than 98%, DM models sold 46540 vehicles, EV models sold 46386 vehicles, a big step closer to the electrification of the whole series.

From the perspective of specific models, in January, BYDHan sold 12,780 vehicles, breaking through the 10,000-vehicle mark again, which is also bydirhan's five consecutive months of sales of more than 10,000 vehicles, and the cumulative sales since its listing exceeded 170,000. With the upcoming launch of Han DM-i, Han's sales are expected to continue to grow upwards.

The BYD Song family sold 22,449 vehicles in January, and the Song EV increased by 3,093% year-on-year, and the cumulative sales of the Song family since its listing have reached 1.07 million units. Bydy Qin family sales of 26,542 vehicles in January, Qin PLUS DM-i increased by 6.7% month-on-month, and Qin family sales exceeded 530,000 vehicles.

BYD's e-series sold 4,364 units, the e2 increased by 235% year-on-year, and the cumulative sales of the e-series since its launch exceeded 80,000 units. BYD Dolphin sold 10,602 vehicles in January, up 5.9% month-on-month, and since its launch, Dolphin has sold more than 40,000 vehicles.

In January 2022, BYD ushered in a good sales start, nearly 100,000 units of single-month sales results, new energy passenger cars accounted for more than 98%, sales have been rising, has become an important pillar of sales growth. At the same time, it is one step closer to the suspension of production of fuel vehicles and the comprehensive transformation of electrification.

It should be noted that BYD's sales target for new energy vehicles in 2022 is set at 1.2 million, including 600,000 pure electric vehicles and 500,000-600,000 plug-in hybrid models. This means that the average monthly sales volume exceeds 100,000 vehicles, and BYD is expected to complete the task.
