These photos are of jiang Qingyun, a survivor of the "Chosin Lake Shuimen Bridge", and Figure 2 is a group photo of father and son. In 1950, Jiang Qingyun, then commander of the 7th Company of the 3rd Battalion, 240th Regiment, 80th Division, 27th Army of the Volunteer Army, led the Volunteer Death Squad to carry out the bombing of the only retreat route of the US army, "Watergate Bridge", in the extremely cold environment of more than 40 degrees below zero, three strong attacks finally blew up the Watergate Bridge to complete the task, and Jiang Qingyun was also shot twice, including one bullet in the left shoulder and one bullet in the right arm. Jiang Qingyun, with strong willpower, endured the pain and insisted on fighting until the Watergate Bridge was blown up.

In mid-March 2021, the hero Jiang Qingyun, who made immortal contributions in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, died in Shijiazhuang at the age of 94. Hats off to the heroes!
