From 0 to 24:00 on January 31, 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 66 new confirmed cases. Among them, 39 imported cases (18 cases in Shanghai, 8 cases in Guangdong, 5 cases in Guangxi, 3 cases in Shandong, 2 cases in Beijing, 2 cases in Tianjin, 1 case in Henan), including 5 cases from asymptomatic infected people to confirmed cases (2 cases in Tianjin, 2 cases in Guangdong, 1 case in Henan), 27 local cases (13 cases in Zhejiang, all in Hangzhou City; 7 cases in Tianjin, including 4 cases in Hebei District, 2 cases in Hongqiao District, 1 case in Jinnan District; 4 cases in Hebei, all in Hengshui City; 2 cases in Beijing, including 1 case in Chaoyang District, 1 case in Fengtai District, 1 case in Guangdong, in Shenzhen). There were no new deaths. There were no new suspected cases.

On the same day, 119 new cured and discharged cases were cured, and 2664 close contacts were released from medical observation, and the severe cases were the same as the previous day.

There are 856 confirmed cases (including 1 severe case) imported from overseas, and there are no existing suspected cases. The cumulative number of confirmed cases is 12,604, the cumulative number of cured and discharged cases is 11,748, and there are no deaths.

As of 24:00 on January 31, according to reports from 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, there are 1,884 confirmed cases (including 10 severe cases), 99,619 cured and discharged cases, 4,636 cumulative deaths, 106139 confirmed cases, and no existing suspected cases. A total of 1529275 close contacts have been traced, and 42,504 close contacts are still under medical observation.

31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 32 new cases of asymptomatic infection, including 31 cases imported from abroad and 1 case from the mainland (in Fengtai District, Beijing); 5 cases were converted to confirmed cases on the same day (all imported from abroad); 25 cases were released from medical observation on the same day (20 cases imported from abroad); and 814 asymptomatic infected people were still under medical observation (693 cases imported from abroad).

A total of 32,614 confirmed cases were reported from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Among them, there were 13,745 cases in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (12,780 cases discharged from hospital, 213 deaths), 79 cases in Macao Special Administrative Region (79 cases discharged from hospital), and 18,790 cases in Taiwan Region (13,742 cases discharged from hospital, 851 deaths).
