The school staff said that after the incident at 14:35 on the same day, the school health care doctor arrived at the scene for emergency treatment and cardiopulmonary resuscitation as soon as possible, and the school physical education teacher dialed 120 synchronously, and the head teacher contacted the parents of the students. During the rescue period, the school teachers went to the nearby Fengming Hospital to find doctors to come to the rescue. At 14:57, the ambulance of Zhengzhou Fuwai Hospital arrived at the playground and took over the first aid-related work, and after the student recovered his heartbeat and breathing, the ambulance departed from the school and arrived at the hospital for treatment as soon as possible.

According to the certificate of diagnosis, the student was admitted to the hospital on April 29 and discharged on May 21. The discharge diagnosis was: fulminant myocarditis, heart failure, cardiogenic shock, respiratory and cardiac arrest, successful cardiac arrest resuscitation, sequelae of ischemic-hypoxic encephalopathy, pulmonary infection, etc.
