Although Zhang Shicheng's origin was not particularly good, he was born as a salt merchant, but in the last years of the Yuan Dynasty, he also had a place in the various divided forces, calling himself the King of Wu. However, in the battle with Zhu Yuanzhang, he repeatedly failed, and finally at the age of 47, he hanged himself. It was precisely because he had the ambition to become an emperor that he would carve such words on his mother's tombstone. After he attacked Suzhou, he was also very good to the people, which also made the people of Suzhou always remember Zhang Shicheng's grace.
