Su Bo: Cultural relics excavated from the tomb of Zhang Shicheng's mother

Suzhou, since ancient times, has been a rich place in Jiangnan. But the standard of living is still verified by excavated cultural relics.

In 1964, an ancient tomb was excavated, the tomb of Zhang Shicheng's mother Cao Shi, known locally as the Tomb of Yuan Niangniang. Zhang Shicheng was the leader of the peasant revolt at the end of the Yuan Dynasty, and was defeated in a major battle with Zhu Yuanzhang for Jiangshan. Zhu Yuanzhang established the Ming Dynasty, so the Cao clan was a Member of the Yuan Dynasty. The cultural relics unearthed in her tomb represent the level of Jiangnan craftsmanship in the Yuan Dynasty.

I don't know Zhang Shicheng, only that he lost to Zhu Yuanzhang. But after watching "Ping Trace Hero Shadow" with his back, Zhang Danfeng should be his grandson. Zhang Danfeng's grandfather, who is chivalrous and tender, is naturally not annoying.

Zhang Shicheng was crowned king in Suzhou, and his mother Cao Shi was not an ordinary aristocratic old lady, and the burial items in her tomb should be the best at that time.

Cultural relics excavated from Cao's tomb are exhibited in the Suzhou Museum.

There is a chiseled floral pattern on the outside.

Silverware, when it was first made, was silver shiny, but it will slowly turn black when it is placed in the air, so it certainly does not look as beautiful as when it was "freshly baked".

The front of the crown is embellished with 6 pieces of jade ornaments with gold edges, on which are engraved six zodiac signs of pig, mouse, tiger, cow, sheep and rabbit. The crown is made of very fine bamboo wire woven into a grid-like crown shell, and the vine or bamboo strip is used as the inner and outer edges, and the silk is tied. The surface of the crown shell is covered with hemp and yellow silk.

Now it does not look good, you must know that the original crown is embellished with peacock green hair, when it was unearthed, the color is still bright, and now there are few remnants. The thin silk is bound by nine gold wires from the front to the back. The gold filaments on both sides of the crown are curved into a swirling shape.
