Huirong Technology: PCIe 4.0 SSD will remain the mainstream specification in the PC market for years to come

IT Home January 27 news, today, Huirong Technology announced the fourth quarter of 2021 financial report, revenue of 264.36 million US dollars, to meet the expected high standard, up 4% from the previous quarter's revenue, compared with the same period of the previous year, a substantial increase of 84%. Fourth-quarter gross margin was 49.9% and net profit after tax was $67.54 million.

Huirong Technology said that the single-quarter revenue of SSD control chips hit a record high, up 15% to 20% compared with the previous quarter, and the annual revenue increased significantly by 75% to 80%.

We believe that PCIe Gen 4 will remain the mainstream specification in the PC market in the coming years, and with our current expanding volume of new cases in the PC OEM market, it is expected that by the end of this year and the beginning of next year, our PCIe Gen 4 SSD control chip will achieve half of the entire PC OEM market. ”
